Yum!

mft-yum-wm

Hmmm there seems to be a chocolate theme happening on my blog this week LOL … who can resist chocolate.

My card today is another MFTeaser using two of the new stamp sets that are to be released by MFT Stamps this Wednesday 2nd December.

The chocolate is from the “Love at First Sight” stamp set which I also featured on Saturday. The word Y U M was created using the new “Alpha Dots” set which is the set the MFT Stamps design team members will be featuring on there blogs today.

One of the things I just love about this stamp set is the options you have. The set contains each letter of the alphabet in a circle format and you also get one plain solid circle which would be fantastic to great backgrounds. So what options am I talking about …. well the size of the circle you want your alphabet to be … first you don’t have to cut them out you can punch them out how easy is that … and depending on the circle punch you select as to what size you circle letter has to be … I could have punched the letters of my word “YUM” with a smaller circle punch if I wanted to but for this particular project I kept it to about the size that the circle actually is. And of course if you wanted it slightly bigger punch it out so that there is a border around the edge of the circle.

closeup-yum-layers I decided it was about time I pulled out my postal shape square punch to create my card today. I added foam tape to the darker pink squares to give the image more visual appeal.

Want to see even more ideas using the Alpha Dots set, then visit Kim’s blog after 11am today for the list of Design Team Members who will also be featuring this set on their blogs today.
