MFT-Gardengirlduo2-wm

Hi everyone and welcome to my blog. It time to join the MFT Stamps Design Team for another MFT "Who's That Girl Hop!" to celebrate the release of the MFT VIP Kit.

The hop started at Kim's blog so if you didn’t start from there you may want to head over there now so that you can start at the beginning of the hop. You don't want to miss anything and believe me there is lots to see!

Today only VIP customers have the opportunity of purchasing the WTG set "Who’s That Gardening Girl" TWO WEEKS EARLY!!!!!!!!!! There will only be 50 VIP collections available and then the set will be unavailable until the full release on July 7th at 10:00 PM EST.

For my project today I created two things, first up the card. The fun thing about this set is that you have options as to what you want WTG to grow. There are 5 different plants that can be stamped into the garden bed, plus one sentiment which I included on the inside of my card.

The “Time To Bloom” sentiment used on the front of my card comes from the “Green Thumb” mini stamp set which is also included in today’s VIP Kit.

After stamping the WTG image onto my card, I added a row of grass created using felt from the My Favorite Felt - Outdoor Essentials pack and die cut using MFT’s Die-namics Grass Die. The sun is created using MFT’s Die-namic Sunshine Die.

MFT-Garden-Girl-in-wmHere is the inside of my card using the sentiment which is included in the WTG stamp set. I stamped the sentiment onto a cloud shape created using MFT Die-namics Cloud Trio Die. The scalloped border at the bottom of my card was created using MFT Die-namics Jumbo Scallop Die.

I also created a “High Back Basket” to hold a garden related gift which was die cut using my cricut machine. I added the same details to this basket as I did my card above: The MFT Die-namics Grass Die; MFT Die-namics Sunshine Die & MFT Die-namics Cloud Trio Die. Above my basket is shown empty so you can see the details of the back of the high back.

MFT-Gardengirlbox3-wmHere is another photo of my “High Back Basket” this time with the gift inside the basket. It is winter down here where I live so I thought it would be perfect to include two packets of bulbs for a gardening friend to plant so they have some beautiful flowers in spring time, just like Who’s That Gardening Girl does here.

Well now it is time to say goodbye to me and hop on over to the marvellously talented Megan Lock’s blog, to see what she has created.

Enjoy the rest of the hop and thanks for dropping by!
