Welcome to day 1 of the sneak peeks for the new stamps to be released by Alota Rubber Stamps this Monday 14th June.
This month Alota is releasing a bunch of sport related stamps …. 7 kids; 3 bugs; 6 sports backgrounds (like the soccer net in my first card) and sports related words/sentiments too. If you have kids or friends/family who love sports, then these stamps are perfect for them. I love them and I am not even a sporty person LOL!
Today I am featuring two soccer cards, the girl and boy used here were designed by artist Jodie Mackrell. To create the first card I stamped the boy and then masked him and stamped the goal. I used my copic airbrush to add the grass and sky to the card.
Here is the inside of my card … using one of the new word stamps from Alota. I love this sentiment, it can be used for just about any occasion you can think of!

Girls like soccer too, so my 2nd card is the female version of a soccer card using “Soccer Girl Sitting”. I used a recent sketch from SCS for the layout of my card. The ball on the bottom right is punched out from a scrap of the designer paper that I used for this one.
All my designer papers I used for all the sports cards for this release are digital papers I purchased a while back and printed out. The fun thing about using digital papers is you can play around with them to get the size and colors you need for the project.
Don’t forget to check out the rest of the Design Team’s blogs to see what they have created using the new stamps.
I will be back again tomorrow with another sneak peek to share with you all.
