You’re #1

PP-Cheerleader-wm
Hi everyone,
Paper Pretties is sponsoring a challenge over on the Tuesday Morning Sketches blog. This week the challenge is a technique challenge … to create a Diagonal Pocket Card. You can find a tutorial on how these are made in the Resources section on Splitcoast Stampers.
For my card I decided to use one of the new sets that was release last Thursday, this set is called “Go Team!”  Isn’t she just super cute! This is another set designed by Paper Pretties new illustrator Victoria Case.

As you can see, this card has two pockets in which you can insert tags, money, gift vouchers etc, depending on what your needs are at the time. I decided to create two tags to insert in my pockets.

Here is a close up of my tags, the stars you see on my tags are from the “Imagine” set … this has a cute dragon as the main image.

For these style of cards it is optional as to whether you attach them to a fold card. As you can see I decided to do just that for mine. I love having a special place to write the greeting, and it also helps the recipient to stand it up for display purposes.
Before I go, the winners for the Paper Pretties new release blog candy from last week’s Paper Pretties blog hop has been drawn. The winner for my blog is Sheri (PaperCrafty) who wins Tire Swing Cooper …. congratulations Sheri! To see  all the rest of the winners you can find them on the Paper Pretties Blog.
