Enjoy The Season!

MFT-WinterCityred-wm

Hi again,

I have another couple of MFTeasers to share with you all today. If you missed my previous post from today which was this month’s MFT sketch challenge scroll down after you have finished here to see yet another MFTeaser.

Today the MFT Stamps Design Team are featuring 3 more of the new stamps which will be released by MFT Stamps after the release party tonight, over on the MFT Stamps Member Forum of SCS. The sets featured today include “Winter In The City WTG”; “Snowflake Flopsey” and also “Happy Thoughts” which is the Triple Scoop set for September.

For  my first card I used Winter in the City WTG set. I used the MFT Die-namics Let it Snowflake Die and also the Bracket Edge Die. I paper pieced the girls top and skirt using the DP in the same paper pad as what I used for the background.

Both of these are simply outstanding. I love the bracket die work on the first one (that's my favorite die right now- so glad I bought it last month) and I love all the soft purples on the second one.

It always gives me encouragement and ideas. If I have to, I’ll do a quick draft to show what I’m looking for. If you really have to, I will go the extra mile and design myself. But part of my job is to teach, to inspire, to put my team on track. It is always a challenge to help design work through work without inspiration, but you have to do. Fortunately for me, that does not happen very often.
