MFT Creative Challenge

MFT-ArtTin-wm

Hi all,

It’s time for another Creative Challenge with the MFT Stamps Design Team. This month the challenge is “For the Kids”, we had to to create a children’s gift item.

For my gift item I decided to alter a bandaid tin, kids always seem to enjoy getting boxes and tins to store all manner of knick knacks.

I covered my bandaid tin using designer paper and then decorated it using the new PI You Color My World stamp set. I used three die-namic dies on this tin which include:

Butterflies Die-namics

Little Open Scallop Strip Die-namics

Here is another view of my tin. The butterfly under the handle hides where I had to cut the designer paper to get it over the handle.  I tied some Pink Sorbet Twine to the handles.

Stamps: PI You Color My World; Say What – MFT Stamps
Paper: White; Pink; Little Cake Shoppe DP – Papermania
Die-namics: Little Open Scallop Strip; Say What; Butterfly – MFT Stamps
Other: Black Ink; Bandaid Tin; Pearls; Pink Sorbet Twine; Foam Tape; Copics
