Oh, So Cute!

CCEE1116-SoSweet-wm

Hi everyone,

It’s challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. Cindy Haffner, our challenge hostess for the month has challenge us to use some form of pleating on our cards …. either pleated paper or pleated ribbon.

For my card I used another of the cute Fizzy Moon stamps … these are such adorable stamps that I couldn’t resisted going and getting a few more from my stamp store! I also recently got the new Kaisercraft paper pad for April which was called Lullaby and is a baby theme, that it wasn’t hard to decide to use this cute stamp and make a baby card.

The pleating on my card is along the bottom edge of my card. I pleated some of the paper and used my MFT Die-namics 3/8" Rosette die to create the pleating. Using this die makes pleating sooooooo easy. I just die cut 3 strips which I then joined end to end. Folded along all the score lines and then just changed a few of the folds so I got the pleating I wanted. And attached it to my card. I sewed along the bottom edge of my pleating which helps keep it all neat and tidy.

Don’t forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog (goes live 12 AM EST) to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs:

love this, the image is adorable and I like that clever idea for the rosette die. I have to get that die out of the package.
