Merry Moosemas!

Riley-CCEE1147-group-wm

Hi all!
It’s challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. This week our challenge hostess Tosh Leyendekker is continuing her countdown of challenges and as we are onto the last week of November we are down to the number 1!

This week Tosh has challenged us to create one layer cards. Now normally I dislike making one layer cards, I love seeing what others do with them but I have trouble creating them. So I figure I am pretty crazy to make not one but four one layer cards … but I couldn’t decide which of the cute Christmas/Winter Riley’s to use on my cards.

It is also day 5 of our Riley sneak peeks in readiness of the release of 17 new Christmas/Winter Themed Riley images & sentiment sets this coming this Thursday 24th November by Riley and Company.

For my first card I used this cute Riley and Pete Fishing … aren’t they just super cute!!!!!! I added some wide striped ribbon and three score lines to my card. I also added a tag with a Christmas sentiment, I will probably get buzzed for doing this for the challenge but I wanted to add the sentiment anyway.

For my second card I used this adorable Riley image, I just love it. The layout is the same as the first card except that the image is on the opposite side of the card.

My third card uses the cute Gingerbread Riley and Sophie stamp … I just love them!

And finally my last card of this series, for this card I stamped the square Riley image onto my card and then cut slits to the top and bottom of the image and threaded my image through. The “Hi” sentiment is part of one of the Christmas sentiments which are being released this week.

Here is the inside of my card for three of the cards I created … the ones with the black, green and blue ribbons.

And one last photo, this time using another of the sentiments. I used this for the Gingerbread card. I can imagine someone singing this sentiment before biting off the antlers if it were a real Gingerbread Moose.

Don’t forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog (goes live 12 AM EST) to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs:
