Vintage Birthday

CCEE1223 Vintage wm

Hi everyone,

It’s challenge time again with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. Being a brand new month we have a new challenge hostess which is Kathy Bradley.

Kathy has challenged us to make a card that has a vintage feel.

For my card this week I used an image from Stamp In Style, this is one of the sets which will be available for sale at the Scrapbook & Papercrafts Expo & Convention which is being held here in Brisbane this weekend.

Don’t forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog (goes live 12 AM EST) to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs:

Stamps: All Stamps by Stamp In Style
Paper: White; Burgundy; Magnolia Grove DP – Kaisercraft
Other: Black Ink; MFT Die-namics Oval Stax 1 & 2; MFT Die-namics Flag Stax; Lace; Pearls; Foam Tape; Copics

I'm singing...

Charleston, charleston
Made in Carolina
Some dance, some prance
I'll say better than finer
Than the charleston, charleston
Boy, how you can shuffle
Every step you do
Leads to something new
Man, I'm telling you
It's a lopazoo

Now that's vintage and oh, so pretty!

What a fabulous fashion image - it's been fun seeing all the vintage ladies stepping out on parade this week.

Oh Frances! It's beautiful! The lace, the colored pearls, the papers, the image -- even the font on the sentiment! Wowser! I am always encouraged to stretch when I see your cards -- stretch my own dabbling, not my legs or something! :)
