Happy Halloween!

Alota88 Halloween wm

Hi everyone,

It’s challenge time over on the Alota Rubber Stamps blog, this time it is Marie Carlsson’s turn to host the challenge.

Paella_Valenciana_Wallpaper_1n7dq

This week Marie has given us a photo of her favorite meal, Paella as inspiration for our card. Pick up the colors, ingredients or shape from the photo of the Paella dish.  Ingredients: rice, saffron, garlic, tomato, green peas, black olives, paprika, cayenne pepper, chicken, shrimp, mussels, crayfish, lemon.

I have to admit, this is also one of my favorite meals too. My daughter makes this for us on a regular basis and I always enjoy it.

For my card this week, I created a Halloween card using one of the new Halloween stamps released by Alota Rubber Stamps recently called Witches Clothesline. The sentiment, Happy Halloween is also from Alota Rubber Stamps.

Do you want to play along???? you can use any stamps you want, although if you have Alota Rubber Stamps we would love to see them on your cards.

You have until the 15th August to complete this challenge, you can enter as many entries as you wish for a better chance of winning!!! You have a chance of winning some wonderful stamps if you card/project is selected randomly from all the entries received.

Stamps: Witches Clotheslines; Happy Halloween – Alota Rubber Stamps
Paper: White; Black; Orange; DP
Other: Black Ink; Antique Linen Distress Ink; Oval Punches; Martha Stewart Zig Zag Border Punch; MFT Stamps Fishtail Flags Die-namics; Black Mini Brads; Foam Tape; Copics

I haven't had time to browse galleries much as of late and I missed lots of your GREAT cards. This is one! Love that image and your coloring is great. The embossing is terrific. :)
