You’re Too Sweet!

CCEE1238 You'reSweet wm

Hi everyone,

It’s challenge time again with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. This week our challenge hostess, Sabrina continues with her September challenges.

This week Sabrina has challenged us to use an image or paper which features food or drink. Bonus points if you make a card which includes a recipe.

I didn’t worry about trying to get bonus points LOL, after all there are no prizes Winking smile. I decided to create a Treat Box card this week using a lolly/candy theme … after all that is food too, right!

I used a couple of Magnolia stamps to create my card.

Here is the inside of my card. The scrap piece that was left over when I cut my hole in the treat box section I used on the inside of the card adding a few buttons to it.

Don’t forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog (goes live 12 AM EST) to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs:

Stamps: 60’s Tilda; Tin Boxes – Magnolia Stamps; Sentiments from PI Lollipop Girl – MFT Stamps
Paper: White; Pink; Orange; Happy Days DP – My Mind’s Eye
Other: Black Ink; MFT Die-namics Pinking Edge; MFT Die-namics Chat Bubble; Orange Ribbon; Spellbinders Rectangle Die; Foam Tape; Copics

What a cutie! And chocolate is more than "food"....it's a necessity to life!

I've been wanting to try this treat holder - now I really want to after seeing your delightful creation. And as for bonus points - I think you get them anyway for bringing real food along, LOL.

Love the treat box. I just made three of these recently. Mine didn't have the opening on the front, though, and I really like that.

Well, you know this ol' gal LOVES her chocolate, and your sweet and pretty treat box has me craving it already (it's only 9:00 a.m. here!) Chocolate is the perfect way to finish off a meal. Thanks for bringing the dessert, Hootsie!

Cindy,
That is so no fair - Hershey's kisses out there and we can't get to them! LOL! Your card/box combination is totally adorable and the image is colored perfectly. The DPs used are so very pretty!! Wonderful and adorable.

Frances,
Apologies for typing the wrong name. I knew I was on your site, but had the next stop in my mind and obviously can't think about two things at one time - can I?! Again, Frances - wonderful and pretty project!

I've seen lots of treat box cards, but I really like this one. The ribbon wrapped around the front is a nice idea. I'm making a treat box birthday card for my daughter this week. I think I'll use this as a model. Thanks!
