Merry Christmas

CCEE1245 MagnoliaChristmas wm

Hi everyone,

It’s challenge time again with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. Vicki Gould continues to bring us this month’s challenges.

This week Vicki has challenged us to use only a portion of an Embossing Folder on your card.

I used the Double Embossing Technique to cover the challenge. Using this technique I was able to use my embossing folder to emboss everywhere but the centre frame area of my card. I then used my copic airbrush to add color to the centre panel and added a frame using the same die I used to create the double embossing. For more details on this technique check out this tutorial on Splitcoast Stampers.

After making my partially embossed panel I added this cute Magnolia Christmas image. On the left side of the card I used washi tape .

Here is the inside of my card, I added another strip of washi tape and a sentiment.

Don’t forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog (goes live 12 AM EST) to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs:

I love the double embossing and that Magnolia couldn't be any cuter. All that cutting! Adorable, Frances.

I'm not sure if I've tried that technique -- it looks quite creative. Your card is adorable.

I must admit I was tempted to try this technique, but I'm glad I left it to you! Sweet image, great looking washi tape. And ummm, I see what you mean about the new MFT dies!!
