Happy Easter

C4C179-Twisted-Easter-wm

Hello everyone,

It’s challenge time with the “Crazies” over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. This week I finish off my turn as challenge hostess with one last challenge Smile

Let's Twist Again like we did last summer! The focus this week is on the word twist ... Create some form of card that has a twist in it, it could be a twisted card, twisted easel card, Twist A Flex Card etc.

This year I have decided to give the BIG kids (adults) in my family iTunes cards for Easter instead of chocolate … ok they may get a little Easter egg with it.  So I decided to create an Easter themed Twisted Card for the challenge today using MFT Stamps Doodle Garden Hunny Bunny.

Along the bottom of my card I added grass using the Die-namics Grassy Edges die and added some tiny eggs which were created using LJD Embellished Eggs and Die-namics LJD Easter Elements set. I white embossed the sentiment which is from LJD Embellished Eggs onto a piece of Blu Raspberry card which was cut using the Die-namics Fishtail Flags STAX .

The base of my card uses Tangy Orange card.

Here is the inside of my card.

On the left side of the inside I stamped the Easter sentiment from LJD Embellished Eggs using black licorice ink. I also added two of the eggs also from the LJD Embellished Eggs and Die-namics LJD Easter Elements set which have been stamped using Blu Raspberry Ink and Lemon Drop Ink.

And finally the right side of the inside of my card … I added a chick also created using the LJD Embellished Eggs and Die-namics LJD Easter Elements sets and Lemon Drop Ink.

I added a gift card to the pocket! Oh and for the observant ones … no that isn’t an iTunes card but this one match my colors better for the photos Smile.

Here are the MFT Supplies I used on my card today:

Hi everyone,

I have another card to share with you today using the Copic Color Bleed Technique …. I have been having so much fun playing with this fun technique.

For my card today I used MFT Stamps LJD Pretty Poppies which has been stamped using Black Licorice Ink. I have used Smooth White; Black Licorice and Wild Cherry Card to create this card. On the base of the card I stamped the word background from the LJD Pretty Poppies  stamp set all over it.

The “Thank You” sentiment is stamped and layered using one of the Labels from the Die-namics LLD Accent It - Labels and Tabs set.

The copics I used for the Color Bleed Grid Technique on this card are: R27; YR09 and Y18

Oldies But Goodies

CCEE1313-WackyShoes-wm

Hi everyone,

It’s challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. This week Charlene Merrick finishes off the month with one last challenge.

Oldies But Goodies – pull out and use an old stamp(s) that you haven’t used in a looooooong time!

CCEE1313-WackyShoes2-wm

It always feels good to pull out an old stamp or two and use them on a card …. I don’t do it as nearly as often as I should as I always seem to have a lot of new stamps to play with Smile.

Anyway today I got to play with not only 3 old stamps but also an old template which is the Weird and Wacky Card Template which is what I used to create this card shape today.

The image and sentiment on the front of my card are both from Impression Obsessions Stamps.

CCEE1313-WackyShoes3-wm

Here is the inside of my card …. pretty simple, it’s just a black panel with the sentiment from Stampendous stamped towards the left side so it won’t be seen when the card is closed stamped using white ink.

Don’t forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog (goes live 12 AM EST) to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs:

Stamps: Shoes & Sentiment (outside) – Impression Obsession; Sentiment (inside) -  Stampendous
Paper: White; Black; Pink
Other: Black Ink; Weird & Wacky Card Template – Amazing Creations; Foam Tape; Copics
