Greetings Earthling!

PopNCut-TSG-Space-wm

Hi everyone,

Last Saturday I posted a card to my blog for the Crazy 4 Challenges challenge which used the There She Goes Out of this World stamp set. It was the first “normal” card I had made after playing around with my new Journey Collection Pop N Cuts dies designed by Karen Burniston for Sizzix. At the time I mentioned it felt strange making a “normal card” and that the stamp set was calling to me to make a pop n cuts card.

Well guess what! It kept calling so much that I had to make it into a pop n cuts card haha! For my card today I have used the Pop N Cuts A2 Card Base and also the Pop N Cuts Wavy Label Insert die. This is a little different to a normal pop n cuts card as I didn’t centre the insert as you normally would but offset it a little which then allows you to create a card that has 2 folds (3 panels). Check out Karen’s video here on how to do this technique.

Here is my card when it is closed. I kept the decorating fairly simple as the inside is the feature! I added a magnet closure under the designer papers as per Karen’s video to keep it closed and also the legs of the spaceship also help too. I used the Sizzix Wavy Label Framelits set for my sentiment.
