You Color My World!

CCEE1410Art1-wm

Hi everyone,

It’s challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. Being a brand you month, it is time to introduce our challenge hostess for March which is Joanne Grzelak.

Michelangelo’s birthday was March 6, 1475, Let’s honor this wonderful artist with our cards this week. Either have a sentiment that refers to ART in some way or have an image that shows an artistic tool (ex. paintbrush, pen, artist palette). Let’s get our artsy vibes flowing.

For my card today I have created a pop up card using the Lucy Label Pop Up die set designed by Karen Burniston for Elizabeth Crafts Designs.

I have recently started reorganising some of my clear stamp sets and unmounted stamp and while I was doing this I discovered my Rubber Romance stamps and as I was organising them this fun Rachel the Artist stamp which I thought would be perfect for my card today.

The sentiment used here is one from The Stamps of Life’s Words4Crayons stamp set … I used the Sizzix/Karen Burniston Banner & Borders Framelits set to layer the sentiment.

On the inside of my card I used two different art themed stamp sets to stamp all over the base of my card using different colored inks.

I added the sentiment to the two pop up pieces, this is another sentiment from The Stamps of Life’s Words4Crayons stamp set.

Here is another view of the inside of my card this time from the side.

Gosh - that must be an old RR stamp, because I don't even remember ever seeing it when I started buying from her. The inside with all the paint splashes is brilliant - I love it!!
