Cha-Ching!

CCEE1423Money1-wm

Hi everyone,

It’s challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. Being a brand new month we have a new challenge hostess which is Anne Harmon.

For our challenge this week the theme is Money. Apparently the first Monday in June is Bank Holiday in Ireland. In honor of our member from the Emerald Isle, please make a card using cash, coins, or green.

As I have money stamps (surprise, surprise LOL!) I decided to go with that them for my card today. And as I love using my Pop-Up dies I created a pop up card using the Lucy Label Pop-Up Card die set designed by Karen Burniston’s for Elizabeth Crafts Designs.

For the inside of my card I decided to use one of the Piggy Banks from Paper Pretties “Penny For Your Thoughts” stamp set. I decided to swap out the coin from the set from one of our Aussie coins which I also have as stamps … the one going in the piggy bank is our $2 coin. I also added an arm which is reaching out to the piggy bank.

For the front of my card I added an open hand and two more coins (our $1 & $2 coin).

Super card Frances, Thanks for pointing out that you used the Australian coin stamps, I must be so used to seeing them that I hadn't noticed ,so I had a closer look I didn't know you could get such a thing.- Maryann

Not only the perfect stamps, and I do love that piggy bank, (works in that banking idea!), but you put it all together in such clever and creative ways, Frances. Such a fun card!
