Butterfly Wishes

CCEE1437Butterfly1wm

Hi everyone,

It's challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. This week our challenge hostess for the month Lois Bak continues to bring us fun challenges.

Today we are celebrating Odd Day (although I think we are a year late Winking smile …. but better late then never) – use an odd number of the same embellishment on your card (e.g., 3 brads, 5 pearls, etc.).

As you can see I have created another Pivot Card (love those Pivots!!!!) But this time round I have used the Butterfly Pivot Card set designed by Karen Burniston for Elizabeth Craft Designs.

The Embossed flower edge is the last part of a challenge I had with a couple of friends which I almost forgot to do and finally remembered to decided to use it for this card. I first inked up the embossing folder before placing my card into it and then embossed it and then used my Copic markers to color the flowers and leaves. I love the look of this one.

To cover the “ODD” part of our challenge I added three pink rhinestones to the sentiment panel and five pearls to each of the butterfly bodies.

Here is the inside of the card …  I die cut the overlay butterfly using Purple Iridescent Shimmer Sheetz, love the shimmery look this gives the card. Of course the two side panels have more of the embossed flower card.

And finally the back of my card, normally I don’t decorate the back panel like I do the rest of the card but seeing I had a spare piece already colored etc it seemed better to use it here then throw it out.

Don't forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog (goes live 12 AM EST) to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs:
