HB2U

Hi everyone,

It's challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. Our challenge hostess for the month, Joanne completes her challenges of the month with one last challenge.

This week Joanne tells us to Get out your tools for this one.  You must have something heat embossed, have some paper piercing, paper piecing, AND some type of framing on this card/project.

For my card this week I decided to make an Accordion card using the Rectangle Accordion Card die set designed by Karen Burniston for Elizabeth Craft Designs. I figured each of these accordion pages are like a frame. I paper pieced the boys shirts using designer paper and paper pierced the corners of each of the while rectangle layers in the centre of each page. The sentiment in the centre page was heat embossed ... all four parts of the challenge complete!

To the centre page I added the Katie Stars Frame Edges, also adding a few extra green stars into the holes of the star frame. To finish of the card I added balloons in various places ... there is a balloon on the third pages ... but it is hidden by the swing panel ... but you can see the string attached to the balloon.

Here is my card closed ready to be placed in a envelope.

Don't forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog (goes live 12 AM EST) to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs:

Great take on the frame element. I really like the paper you used to piece their tops - and the overall colour scheme is fab.
