A Royally Wonderful Birthday

Hi everyone,

It’s challenge time with the “Crazies” over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog.  Karen Aicken, our challenge hostess issues her final challenge for the month.

For our challenge this week, Karen has asked us to .... MAKE IT ROYAL!   Use Royal Colours and/or Royal Images - your choice.

Thanks to this challenge I got to play with a few stamp sets and a die set that I purchased some time ago and hadn't gotten around to using ... I knew there was a reason I needed all these products haha!

For my card I used the Katie Label Pivot Card die set designed by Karen Burniston for Elizabeth Craft Designs. I also added on the decorative doily from the Paris edges die set to the end of each card. I die cut two edges for both the front and back of the card, so that I could sandwich the card between the edges and it would look the same from both the front and the inside. I also added the Pink Glitter Border Peel Off Stickers to the edge where the designer paper and card meet.

I wanted something royal on the front of the card so I added the Magnolia Castle die which is one of the things I purchased ages ago and it has been sitting there.

For the inside of my card I added this cute Prince and Princess stamps, I think I have had these for a couple of years just waiting for the right reason to be used.

Here is a closer look at the left side of my card. The sentiment comes from an older Hero Arts Stamp set which I picked up cheap last year (but hadn't used).

And a close up of the right side of the card.  This sentiment is from another Hero Arts stamp set which I purchased when I purchased the other set.

And finally, the back of my card. I hope you all have a magical day :)

Don't forget to check out the rest of the “Crazies” cards over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog and also their individual blogs for more details.

WOW Frances - this is SO amazing. I adore that little castle die cut on the front, and the sweet colour combination you chose for your card.
