What's Up?

Hi everyone,

It's challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. Being a brand new month and of course year, it is time to introduce our new challenge hostess which is ME!

Apparently According to the Days of the Year web site, January is Hot Tea Month. So for our first challenge for the year let's see your 'Tea' themed cards for this week's challenge.

For my card today I am playing with a couple more of the new dies designed by Karen Burniston for Elizabeth Craft Designs.

The base of the card uses the new Oval Pull Card. This die set comes with sliding mechanism which you can use on your card if you wish.

Karen has also released this time round a set of Pull Card edges. There is an edge that goes with each of the different Pull Card Sets released so far, the circle. rectangle and oval as well as a scalloped edge for the right hand side of the card. These have been designed so you can still decide what size card you create when using them.

The sentiment is from the new What's Up? Clear Stamp set. I love how Karen's new stamp sets all have the possibility to mix and match the sentiments to create new ones.

To decorate my card I used the cup, steam and spoon from the new Cup Pop Stand Card. The great thing about Pop Stand Card dies sets is that you can use them to create a Pop Stand Card or use the dies to decorate other cards.

On the inside of the card I added a sentiment and cup from the new Coffee & Tea Clear Stamp set.

Don't forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog (goes live 12 AM EST) to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs:

Fun card, Frances! And I'm going to have to check out the "edges" dies. The only one I could find was the one you used on today's card (the oval pull card) and it said "coming soon". I couldn't find the rectangle one (which is the die set I have). I'll keep looking! Super background paper on your card.
