#1 Teacher

Hi everyone,

It’s challenge time with the “Crazies” over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. Barb Anders our challenge hostess for the month finishes off the month with one last challenge.

Barb says .... The end of May signals the end of the school year in the US. Let's make a teacher thank you card this week. If you don't have a use for a teacher thank you card feel free to make a generic thank you card instead.

It always seems strange having school finish in the middle of the year as were I live our school year doesn't end until the end of the year. I guess it is all about when our summer holidays are :).

As I will need to have a few cards for my daughter to give to my grandchildren's teachers this was an ideal time to get another one made.

It has been a while since I have made a pencil shaped card so I figured I would create one for this challenge.

Of course I love interactive cards and I could just make a plain card for this challenge so lets go pop up! I used the Lucy Labels Pop Up Card die set designed by Karen Burniston for Elizabeth Craft Designs.

As you can see I recreated the pencil design I created on the front on the inside of my card.

The sentiment I used is an old one from MFT Stamps, I liked this one as I figured there is an eraser on the end of the pencil, which kind of matches the sentiment.

Here is another view of my card, taken at a different angle so you can see the pop up part of the card a little better.

Don't forget to check out the rest of the “Crazies” cards over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog and also their individual blogs for more details.
