Let It Snow!

Hi everyone,

A few weeks ago I had to order a new Christmas stamp set from Stampendous called Winter Friends ... why???? Because the set contained a cute owl in it in a similar style to the snowman on this card. The bonus was that besides the owl, there was a snowman and penguin plus lots other fun things that these characters could hold or use to decorate the card.

I have yet to create a card using the owl or penguin, but I have them all stamped and ready to create whenever I get some more time to play with that set.

For my card today I used the Spellbinders Happy Days die set to create the base of my card. I added the snow to the bottom edge of both pieces of designer paper for my snowman and trees to ground to.

I decided to keep the colors of this card fairly pastel. I added snowflakes to each of the "steps" in the middle of the card which you can see in the photo at the top of this post.

To finish the card off, I added Elizabeth Craft Designs A Way with Words - Let it Snow sentiment to the top right hand side of the card.

And finally my card closed ready to be placed in an envelope.
