A Little Bird Told Me

Hi everyone,

It's challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. Our challenge hostess Joanne Grzelak continues to issue the challenges.

The month of April is National Humor Month. There are many occasions when a funny image or sentiment can make the day of someone facing some type of a challenge (or an 'aged' birthday). So for our challenge this week make a card using humor.

For my card this week I used a Penny Black stamp set ... love that sentiment and it is perfect for an 'aged' birthday.

I also used a new (for me) Nellie Snellen Pop-Ups 3 Stars die which I received for my birthday recently. I love how it creates a 3D panel and there are so many different ways it can be used.

For the inside of my card I used the A Way with Stencils - Feather stencil to create the feather and then stamped the Happy Birthday over the top of it using black ink.

Don't forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog (goes live 12 AM EST) to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs:
