Sandy Birthday Wishes

Hi Crafty Friends,

It's challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. Our challenge hostess for the month, Vicky Gould finishes off the month with one last challenge.

Our challenge this week was to use a fun fold of our choice!

As you can see I decided to create an accordion card using Karen Burniston's Fancy Label Accordion Card die set.

I had an idea to create the background on the main accordion pages using the Honey Bee Stamps Ocean Borders Clear Stamp set. I cut my cardstock slightly larger than each page, stamped the background stamp onto each piece of cardstock using VersaMark Ink and White Embossing Powder. I then added four different colors of blue Distress Oxide ink to create an ombre Emboss Resist. The first page was stamped on both the front and back of the cardstock as I need both sides of this page decorated.

For the middle page of my accordion card I added a birthday sentiment using Honey Bee Stamps Mermaid Song Clear stamp set.

On the first and third pages I decorated the pages using Karen Burniston's Tropical Scene and Sea Animals die sets.

Here is a look at my card when it is closed ready to be placed in an envelope.

Don't forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog (goes live 12 AM EST) to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs:
