Sweet Rose Bouquet 3D Vignette

Hi Crafty Friends,

It's challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. Anne Harmon our challenge hostess for the month continues to issue the challenges.

Anne's birthday is in two days.  So for our challenge this week, she asks us to make her happy by using some RED on your card or project.

When I was thinking of what I could use on a card that could be red, I spied my new Altenew Sweet Rose Bouquet stamp set, sitting on my desk waiting too be used ... roses can be red so that is what I went with. I stamped some single roses and a bunch as I wasn't sure what I was doing. Then I thought it might be nice to decorate the front of Becca Feeken's 3D Vignettes, so I went with the single roses.

To stamp the roses I used Altenew's ink cubes. I love how their ink pads come in sets of 4 of the same color family to make for easy stamping for layered stamp sets.

I decided to use Becca Feeken's Grand Dome die set which coordinates with the Layered Happy Birthday die set. I wasn't planning on getting these originally but after playing with the original set I did get I ended deciding I needed this set too.

I die cut each piece for pink cardstock and then an extra "Happy Birthday" & "Balloons" layer from white cardstock so I could piece these over the pink panels.

Finally here is a look at my card when it is folded flat so it can be placed in an envelope.

Don't forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog (goes live 12 AM EST) to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs:
