Hi everyone,

It’s Wednesday which means it’s time for this week’s Wednesday Stamp Club sketch over on the MFT Stamps Member Forum of SCS. It’s also the first Wednesday of the month, which means it is my turn to design the sketch .

For my card this time round I used MFT Stamps à la modes Hot Cocoa Cutie stamp set, I can’t get enough of those à la mode stamps! I paper pieced the girls mug and her jacket using designer paper. I have also used the new Die-namics Botanical Beauty which is being released next Tuesday.

Here is the inside of my card, as you can see I duplicated the layout from the front of my card. The sentiment is also included in the à la modes Hot Cocoa Cutie stamp set.

Hi everyone,

It’s that time again when the MFT Stamps designs team begins showing our MFTeasers in preparation of the new stamps which will be released by MFT Stamps after the release party this coming Tuesday 7th February.

Today the Design Team are featuring Let’s Chat (Who’s That Girl) stamp set which is being released. What a fabulous stamp set! I love all the sentiment that goes well with is WTG image. I have paper pieced the girls blouse and also the background of the image.

MFT Stamps are also releasing a number of new Die-namics again this release, I can never have too many Die-namics … For my card today I am using three of the new dies on the front of my card:

Die-namic Botanical Beauty – I am just loving this new flower die!
Die-namic Chat Bubbles – what fun for sentiments!
Die-namic Monarch Border – another fun border!

Here is the inside of my card. The sentiment is also from the Let’s Chat Who’s That Girl Stamp set. This was stamped onto the larger of the two Die-namics Oval Dainty Doily Duo which is another of the new dies being released next Tuesday. You can also see the Die-namic Monarch Border along the left side of my card again.

Hi everyone,

It’s time for another Pretties Wednesday Challenge over on the Paper Pretties Blog. This week our challenge is to use Ribbon or Twine on our cards.

For my card this week I used Paper Pretties Happy Spring Polly, this is such a cute stamp set. I paper pieced the umbrella that polly is holding. For the challenge part I used both ribbon and twine … the ribbon I am sure you can see easily, the twine is threaded through the button on my bow.

Here is the inside of my card, I stamped the sentiment which is included in the set.

I have to admit when I first read this month’s topic I was scared!!!! However I am not one to shirk a challenge so I have created another video showing my creative process. Now I must warn you all my video is LONG, I tried to keep it as short as possible but how do you condense what normally takes hours. Fortunately my video won’t take you hours to watch

The card you see at the top of this post is the final product from this challenge. I used MFT Stamps Pure Innocence Jump for Joy stamp set. The skipping rope was created using Caribbean Teal Twine. I used three MFT Die-namics on this card which are:

Hi all

My card today is for this week’s Card Patterns Sketch challenge which is sponsored by MFT Stamps.

For my card today I used MFT Stamps Pure Innocence - Precious Little Lamb Where Flowers Bloom, I just love this cute little lamb! Along the bottom of my card I added the Die-namics Oval Chain Border.

Here is the inside of the card. I layout is the same as the base on the outside of my card. I added one of the sentiments from the Pure Innocence - Precious Little Lamb Where Flowers Bloom stamp set. I also used the Die-namics Oval Chain Border die along the bottom of my card.

Hi everyone,

The “Crazies” over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog are back with another fun challenge this week. Our challenge hostess for January, Joanne Grzelak finishes off the month with one last challenge.
The challenge is Layer it on. Lots and lots of layers and embellishments.

For my card I used the Forever Friends Black & Gold stamp set. I have 7 layers on this card so hopefully that is enough for this challenge, I also added lots and lots of embellishments … ribbon; flowers; stickpins; heart embellishment and stick on dots.

Here is the inside of my card. I added another of the bears from the Forever Friends set, stamp the bear three times once in red and twice in black so I could have a red/pink heart.

This month we have 12 new Riley images being released.

For my first project today I created a Six Fold Card, you can find a tutorial on how to create this over in the resource section of Splitcoast Stampers. I have used Shoe Shopping Sophie… what fun! The sentiment used on the front of my card is from the Moose Sayings 1 sentiment set.

This photo shows my card when both the front triangle pieces are opened up.

Here you can still my card again … we are still in the process of opening it up … see the flap at the top and the two doors at the bottom.

Finally the card is completely open…. don’t you just love the sentiment which is another from the Moose Sayings 1 sentiment set.

For my second card today I created an Apron card featuring Mixing Bowl Riley. I paper pieced Riley’s apron to match the designer paper I used on the Apron card.

Here is the inside of my card. I thought this was an appropriate sentiment … this must be what Riley is cooking a Pumpkin Pie! This sentiment is from the Christmas Words 1 sentiment set.

Hi everyone!

It is day 5 of our Riley sneak peeks in readiness of the of the new Riley stamps that will be available from Riley and Company this coming Thursday 26th January. This time round we have 12 new Riley’s being released.

This time round I have used Sewing Sophie and created a Slit Latch card, these are so easy to create. The top and bottom layer of the right side of my card have slits in them so that they interlock together.

Here is another view of the front of my card, so you can see the slit in the top right corner of the front of my card. the slit goes to the middle point of the card about 1inch in from the edge and on the inside the slit is on the bottom.

Australia Day!

Hi everyone and to all my Australian readers Happy Australia Day!

It’s challenge time again with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. It’s my turn to host the challenge again this week.

It’s a special day for all Aussies today as it is Australia Day! It is on this day in 1788 that the First Fleet arrived at Sydney Cove. So our challenge is Aussie related … I will give you a few options … use the colors green & gold on your card; create a beach scene (we love our beaches); use Australian Animals; Tongs (you wear on your feet btw) etc.

Late last year I purchased this Magnolia Koala Hugs Tilda which is an exclusive stamp from Shopbron a stamp store here in Australia. Of course I had to use this for my card today!
As you can see I have created yet another Centre Step card, I love making these cards. For those of you who haven’t tried them yet you can find my tutorial and video on the resources section of Splitcoast Stampers.

I also used the colors green and yellow on my card which is Australia’s national colors, which is also the colors of Australia’s floral emblem the Golden Wattle. I did add a little orange to my card as well.
I also got to play with my new small Madison window die from Poppy Stamps …. I created a scene of gum trees that you can see through the window.

Here is the inside of my card, the sentiment is one I have had for years.

Hi everyone,

It’s Wednesday which means it’s time for this week’s Wednesday Stamp Club sketch over on the MFT Stamps Member Forum of SCS. This week’s sketch is #56, another fun layout!

For my card this week I used MFT Stamps Bunch of Hearts Flopsey, I paper pieced the hearts Flopsey is holding. I substituted the circle on the sketch for a heart which is the Die-namics Layered Heart die, the stitching around the outside of the heart uses the Pink Sorbet Twine. I also used the Die-namics Double Scallop Border along the bottom of the striped panel. The sentiment is layered using the ribbon from the Die-namics First Place Award Ribbon.

Here is the inside of my card, the sentiment and hearts are also from the Bunch of Hearts Flopsey stamp set. I also used the Die-namics Double Scallop Border along the top of the designer paper layer.

Hi everyone,

Today the MFT Stamps Design Team are participating in a blog hop with the Scor-Pal Design Team. You can find a full list of Designers participating in this hop over on the MFT Stamps blog .

For my card today I have created a Diamond Fold card using MFT Stamps Pure Innocence Good Fortune stamp set. I have paper pieced the girls kimono using oriental papers. This was layered using the MFT Die-namics Open Scallop Doily DUO. The sentiment is stamped onto the ribbon of the Die-namics First Place Award Ribbon.

Hi everyone!

It is day 3 of our Riley sneak peeks in readiness of the of the new Riley stamps that will be available from Riley and Company this coming Thursday 26th January. This time round we have 12 new Riley’s being released.

It's also challenge time again over on the Riley and Company blog. This week our challenge hostess is Laurie Clout. Apparently today is Global Belly laugh day and also her daughter’s birthday so Laurie has challenged us to make a punny/funny birthday card, with ribbon & 2 embellishments.

For my card today I opted for the punny part of the challenge rather than funny …. punny. According to the online Merriam-Webster dictionary, the definition of PUNNY : constituting or involving a pun.

For my card I used Reading Riley, I paper pieced the chair that Riley is sitting in using designer paper. My sentiment I used here “It’s A Moostery!” is from Moose Sayings 2. Why did I use this particular sentiment??? Well Riley is reading a book … some books can be mysteries … get it!

For my card today I used Cell Phone Riley, isn’t he just super cute. The layout for this card uses this month’s SFYTT sketch challenge. Most of us say “Hello” when we are on the phone, so I figured it was an apt sentiment to add to the front of my card. This sentiment is from the 5 pc. Winter Fun Word Set!

You’re Such a Doll!

Hi everyone,

It’s challenge time with the “Crazies” over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. This week our challenge hostess for January, Joanne Grzelak has given us another fun challenge.

Being the 3rd Saturday of the month it is also time for another sponsored challenge. This time round our sponsor is My Favorite Things, now everyone should know I LOVE MFT!

Our challenge this week is to create a child’s birthday card … easy peasy!

I just love the Pure Innocence range of stamps that is sold by My Favorite Things and of course these are perfect for a child’s birthday card. As I hadn’t played with one of the newest PI’s in my collection PI – Paper Dolls I decided to use for my card today. I have paper pieced the girls dress as well as the paper dolls she is holding in here hand.

The PI Girl was layered onto the MFT Die-namics Oval Decorative Doily.The sentiment has been stamped and layered using the MFT Die-namics Bracket Tab. Along the bottom of the card I used the MFT Die-namics Paper Doll Border to create the cute Paper Doll Border … isn’t it adorable!

Here is the inside of my card. The sentiment was first stamped onto the MFT Die-namics Clearly Sentimental Label, this is a nice long label die which will fit those larger sentiments which won’t fit onto the other label die-namics. This was then layered onto the MFT Die-namics Oval Decorative Doily. I also added the MFT Die-namics Paper Doll Border this time using the same designer paper that I used on the PI image on the front of the card.

You Fill My Heart With Joy!

Hi everyone,

Recently I made a video to show how to create a heart shaped box using the MFT Die-namics Layered Heart die which I posted for my Bunch of Hearts Flopsey … MFT New Product Tour post which you can find here.

As I had run out of the card I used for my other box I used the the card and papers you can see in the box above. Seeing I had made it I figured I might as well decorate it so it could also be used. This time round I decided to use MFT Stamps Pure Innocence Fill My Heart with Joy, I just love this adorable little lamb! I paper pieced the lambs shirt and the heart it is holding. The sentiment was stamped and layered using the ribbon from the MFT Die-namics First Place Award Ribbon die.

I also used Maraschino Red Twine to sew around the smaller of the hearts on the top of my box.

Here is a view of my box open. The box section part of is created using two pieces of card … 3 7/8 inches square for the lid and 3 3/4 inches square for the base.

Why Dragons Can’t Blow Out Birthday Candles!

Hi everyone,

It’s Thursday which means it’s challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. This month it is my turn to host the challenges!

Chinese New Year is celebrated on January 23rd this year and it is the Year of the Dragon … so this week either use a Dragon on your card or find out what animal relates to your birthday year in the Chinese Zodiac and create a card using that animal. You can find out what year correspondence to what animal here.

I was actually born on the Year of the Goat, but as I have a ton of dragon stamps and probably not many goat stamps that I can think of offhand I wanted to use one of my dragon stamps.

The one I used on my card today is one from a plate of stamps from the Wizard of Bez um plate from Sunday International which I have had for a number of years now. Sometimes it is fun to be able to pull out some older stamps and use them on challenges etc.

I just love that sentiment … “Why Dragons Can’t Blow Out Birthday Candles!”. I guess it would be a problem if you were a fire breathing dragon right!

Hi everyone,

It’s Wednesday which means it’s time for this week’s Wednesday Stamp Club sketch over on the MFT Stamps Member Forum of SCS. This week we are up to sketch # 55 and it is a nice easy sketch this week!

For my card this week I used the MFT Stamps Clearly Sentimental About Romance, which is this months triple scoop stamp set. I used the MFT Die-namics Clearly Sentimental Label die to stamp my sentiment onto, this was then layered onto the label die from the MFT Die-namics You Move Me die set. The flower on the top right hand of the sentiment is the MFT Die-namics Fringed Perennial die. I also added some bling to my card to keep it from being plain.

Here is the inside of my card. I used another of the sentiments from the Clearly Sentimental About Romance stamp set. I also used both the MFT Die-namics Clearly Sentimental Label and the label die from the MFT Die-namics You Move Me die set for my sentiment.

For my card today I used Paper Pretties Fairy Special stamp set, this is such an adorable stamp set! I added the glitter to the star on the wand and also onto the wings of the elephant.

For my card today I used the PI Violin Girl, isn’t she adorable! I paper pieced her dress. I used three MFT Die-namics on the front of my card. First up is the Die-namics Monarch Border which is also included in the VIP Collection today. The sentiment is stamped and layered using the Die-namics Mini Tabs Foursome die set. And finally I added a couple of music notes using the Die-namics Music Notes die.

Here is the inside of my card. The sentiment is also included in the PI Violin Girl stamp set. This was stamped and layered onto the Die-namics Sweet Stack Label die. The border along the top of the designer paper is the negative portion of the Die-namics Monarch Border that I used on the front of my card.

Spice Cat!

Hi everyone,

I am playing with more new stamps today, this is from a stamp set I got from Santa . It is from a company called Loralie Art Stamps and the stamp set is called Spice Cats. There are three cats in the set, two full cats and one just the head!

The flower is created using purple felt and the MFT Die-namics Loopy Bloom … I love this die-namic!!!!! Unfortunately the flower is not shown on the photo in it’s proper colors … I hate when that happens, but sometimes if you adjust the color for one thing it will effect the rest of the card, so I have left it alone!

The layout used on this card is a recent Mojo Sketch challenge (Mojo221), I think it has been a while since I have used a Mojo sketch on my cards.

This week’s challenge is a Sketch Challenge – as we haven’t had one in ages I thought I would give you a nice simple one!

For my card today I used a stamp I have had for a few months now from Lili of the Valley … Astronaut. Isn’t he such a cutie! I added the brads with the numbers to represent counting down for a blast off of the spaceship in the background.

Here is the inside of my card, I used a scrap of designer paper I had left over from when I trimmed off the designer paper on the front of my card. I added a sentiment to suit the image on the front.

Our Design Team Creative Challenge is a new monthly feature, where we challenge our design team to explore their creative side using a specific theme, product or technique. This month we are making "Masculine Cards" Be sure to check the MFT Blog for a list of all the designers who have creative gift solutions for you today!

For my card today I used MFT Stamps Fred Bear Well Done. I love using stamps that depict something that a male might do when I create a card for a male, and I know a lot of men that love to BBQ so this stamp set is perfect for them.

A few week’s back Splitcoast Stampers posted a new tutorial on how to create a Double Dutch Fold card which is what I have created today. I love being able to try different styles of cards.

Fred Bear is layered onto the MFT Die-namics Open Scallop Doily die. I don’t like using ribbons when I make a masculine card, but there are other options to use instead, on this card I used Denim Twine at the top portion of my card.

Here is a view of my card when the top front portion of the card is lifted up. You can see Fred Bear sneaking through!

It’s challenge time again over on the Riley and Company blog. This week our challenge hostess is Kelly Santi.

Kelly has challenged us to Winter Fun! Show us your Riley/Sophie having fun in a Winter Wonderland!. What a fun challenge!

After putting some of my Christmas pressies away I discovered I had a few of these little boxes (they held Owl necklaces) … I thought they might be come in handy sometime or other to use for something. So when I was thinking about what to do for todays Riley challenge I thought it might be fun to use one of the boxes to make a shaker box.

I used Riley Postage Stamp for the inside of my shaker box, as he looks like he is having lots of winter fun! The sentiment is from the Christmas Words 1 sentiment set.

Hi everyone and happy Sunday!

My card today uses another stamp I purchased on a recent visit to a friend’s stamp store. This stamp set is from Crafter’s Companion and is from their SWALK range of stamps, which are adorable.

Another friend’s daughter is getting engaged this year, so I will probably use this card for that. I used MFT Stamps Die-namic Layered Heart which you can see at the top left hand corner of the card, I am loving this die set. I have added a sentiment using one of Spellbinders banner dies.

A Little Bird Told Me!

The “Crazies” over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog are back with our first challenge for 2012. Being a brand new year and month we have a new challenge hostess which this time round is Joanne Grzelak.

Seeing that it is a brand new year and with Christmas not long gone, many of us have new toys to play with Joanne has given us a fabulous challenge this week.

New year….new ‘toys’…..new techniques. Do or use something NEW on your card/project.

The image I have used on my card today is one I received from a good friend as a Christmas present. It is from Stampavie and is called Belinda & The Cardinal, isn’t she just so cute. I paper pieced her dress & bow using designer paper. The sentiment used on the front of my card is from Kraftin’ Kimmie, I thought it was perfect with this image, don’t you think!

Here is the inside of my card, the cardinal is separate from the girl in the stamp set, so it was each to stamp it twice on the inside of the card. The sentiments are two more from Kraftin’ Kimmie.

Just before Christmas my dear hubby took me to a friends stamp store I have been wanting to visit for ages. It is about a 2 hours drive from here in NSW and I have been trying to get down there for 2 1/2 years. I found a few must haves to bring home with me and this stamp set from Kraftin’ Kimmi is one of them. I paper pieced the girls pants to match the designer paper I used on the card.

Hi everyone,

It’s challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. We are all back for another fun year of challenges. This month I am the challenge hostess and I am looking forward to giving you so fun challenges this month.

Yesterday 4th January was Jakob Grimm’s birthday … he was born in 1785 and was responsible for many of the popular fairy tales that we enjoy today including Cinderella, Snow White; Sleeping Beauty; Hansel and Gretel; Rapunzel and many more found in Grimm’s Fairy Tales. So our challenge today is to create a card using one of the Grimm’s Fairy Tales as your inspiration … don’t forget to tell us which one you chose. Today I am featuring the new Bunch of Hearts Flopsey, isn’t he just so adorable!!!!! First up my card … I cut Flopsey out and layered him onto the Die-namics Layered Hearts die which is also being released tonight. I love the holes that are in the smaller of the two hearts and for my project today I used Blossom Twine to stitch all away around the outside of the heart.

I have also used the Die-namics Small Scallop Border to divide the two designer papers on the base of my card. The “I Love You” sentiment is stamped on one of the pennants from the new Die-namics Mini Wavy Pennants.

Here is the inside of my card, the sentiment is stamped and layered onto the Ribbons from the Die-namics First Place Award Ribbon. The border along the edge of the heart designer paper is the Die-namics Small Scallop Border. I also used two of the hearts from the Die-namics Hearts a Plenty die.

The box is created using the Die-namics Layered Hearts die. I have created a video on how I made this which you can see below.

Here you can see my box open. The box section part of is created using two pieces of card … 3 7/8 inches square for the lid and 3 3/4 inches square for the base.

Hi everyone,

It’s time for another Pretties Wednesday Challenge over on the Paper Pretties Blog. This week the challenge is to include brads or eyelets on your card.

For my card today I used Paper Pretties Cowboy Cooper, I just love this little guy! When I was deciding what to do for one of the challenges a couple of weeks ago, I had colored a couple of images using all the grey colors and this was one of them so I decided to make use of that image for my card today.

As I often use brads on my cards and neglect all those eyelets I have in my stash I decided to use the eyelet option for the challenge today. I used larger eyelets which I added near the bottom of my card and then threaded the twine through the eyelets.

For my project today I created a card, basket and strawberries using the MFT Stamps PI Berry Sweet Stamp set and the MFT Die-namics Strawberry die, both are being release tonight.

Let’s start with my card which is a Slit Latch card, the top and bottom layer of the right side of my card have slits in them so that they interlock together.

Here you can see the slit in the top right corner of the front of my card. the slit goes to the middle point of the card about 1inch in from the edge and on the inside the slit is on the bottom.

I love this little PI’s dress as it resembles a strawberry, this was paper pieced using designer paper.

The image is layered onto the MFT Stamps Die-namics Oval Decorative Doily die. I have also used the new Die-namics Rolled Scallop Flower and one of the pennants from the Die-namics Mini Wavy Pennant die.

Here is the inside of my card, I used one of the sentiments from the PI Berry Sweet stamp set. The oval is from the Die-namics Sweet Stack Labels die and this was layered onto the Die-namics Decorative Doily Duo Die which is another of the new Die-namics to be released tonight.

One of the new Die-namics which is to be released tonight is the Die-namics Strawberry Box. I am so excited that this die is being released it is lots of fun. You can pop a few treats inside the strawberry before closing up the box.

I needed something to hold the strawberries that I created, so I decided to make a basket to hold them.

Fill My Heart With Joy!

I have another couple of MFTeasers to share with you all today in readiness of the MFT Stamps new release, this coming Tuesday 3rd January.

Hi everyone and Happy New Year! I hope you are all enjoying your weekend.

It’s day 5 of the MFTeasers and I have one more Teaser to share with you! Today the MFT Stamps Design Team are featuring more of the new sets that are to be released by MFT Stamps on Tuesday 3rd January.

The sets being shown today are “à la modes Chocolate Bar” and “à la modes Genie”.

For my card today I used the à la modes Genie stamp set … how cute is she!!!!!! Perfect for birthdays and other occasions!

I have used 5 MFT Die-namics on the front of my card. There is the MFT Die-namics Jumbo Monarch Border. I combined the MFT Die-namics Mini Wavy Pennants with the pole from the MFT Die-namics Mini Pennant Die, this gives you many more options of the type of pennant you use. I have also used the MFT Die-namics Vintage Flourish. And finally I used the new MFT Die-namics Rolled Scallop Flower, you may notice that this flower is a little fuller then normal, this is because I decided to join two die cuts together before rolling them so I could get the fuller flower .. here is a quick video to show you how I did it.

At The Movies!

Hi everyone,

It’s day 4 of the MFTeasers, in preparation of the release of the new stamp sets which are all due to be released by MFT Stamps this coming Tuesday 3rd January.

Today the Design Team are featuring the two sets that will be released, these are “At The Movies Die-namic & Stamp set” and “Monogram Alphabet Stamp set”.

For my project today I decided to use the At the Movies Die-namic & Stamp set.

A friend of mine gave me a DVD gift box for a Christmas Swap that we did this year, and I thought it was a brilliant idea to use to give a DVD and a popcorn treat to someone so I decided I would use that idea as inspiration for my project today.

The belly band helps keep the DVD gift box closed, as you can see I have decorated the belly band using the reel of film and the popcorn stamps/dies from the sets.

Here is my DVD gift box with the belly band removed.

This Die-namic and Stamp set is so much fun, and has sentiments to suit so many occasions. I decided to use the birthday sentiment included in the set and make my DVD gift box as an aged birthday gift .. so I also added the “40” to the top part of the film strip.

And one last photo of my DVD Gift Box, this time opened … you can see how this gift box has two pockets one to hold a DVD and the other for some popcorn to eat while watching the movie

Today the Design Team are featuring two of the new stamp sets that will be released, these are: Pearls of Wisdom and Clearly Sentimental About Romance (which will be January’s Triple Scoop set).

For my card, I used the Pearls of Wisdom stamp set, I just love the sentiments that are contained in this stamp set. I have used five of MFT Die-namic dies on this card, two of which will be released this coming Tuesday.

Hi everyone,

It’s day 2 of the MFTeasers, in preparation of the release of the new stamp sets which are all due to be released by MFT Stamps this coming Tuesday 3rd January.

Today the Design Team are featuring one of the new stamp sets that will be released, which is Bunch of Hearts Flopsey. I just adore Flopsey!

When I think of Valentines Day, I think of Hearts and chocolates so I decided to combine the two to create my project today which is a Treat Box card. You can find a tutorial on how to create one of these over in the resource section of Splitcoast Stampers.

I altered the template a little so that I could make the card section slightly wider as I needed it for my image. Inside the treat section I have place 4 heart chocolates.

Flopsey is layered onto one of MFT Stamps newest Die-namics die which is also being released next Tuesday which is the Die-namics Layered Hearts. I love the holes around the edge of the top heart as it gives you so many options. You can leave it plain like I have on this card or you can add stitching,rhinestones etc.

Here is one more photo of the front of my card, this time with the box open. This is another modification I made to the template adding a tab so I could open and close the treat box section easily.

Here is the inside of my card. I used the Die-namics Layered Hearts die again and on top of that I used the Die-namics Sweet Stack Labels for my sentiment. The Sentiment is from the Bunch of Hearts Flopsey stamp set.

It’s Wednesday which means it’s time for this week’s Wednesday Stamp Club sketch over on the MFT Stamps Member Forum of SCS. This week’s we are up to sketch # 52, that’s a whole year of sketches we have completed now … I hope you have enjoyed them as much as I have

For my card today I used MFT Stamps PI Heart Warmer, isn’t he just so adorable!!!!!! I have paper pieced his suit, scarf and hat using designer papers. I have used three MFT Die-namics on the front of my card these are:

For the inside of my card I stamped the boy again in the lower right hand corner of my card and then stamped the sentiment over the image. I also used the MFT Die-namics Icicles Border again along the edge of the designer paper.

Hi everyone,

Today the Design Team are featuring the Who’s That Parisian Girl stamp set which is being released.

As you can see I have created another Centre Step card which I always have fun creating and this one was no exception. I took my inspiration for the colors in the French flag which is blue, white and red.

MFT Stamps are also releasing some awesome new Die-namic dies on Tuesday, three of which I have used on the front of the card. First up we have the Die-namics Eiffel Tower, perfect to use with the WTG stamp set this month, what a fun die! Along the bottom of my card I have used the Die-namics Jumbo Monarch Border. The sentiments along the bottom are stamped onto one of the pennants from the new Die-namics Mini Wavy Pennants die. This set co-ordinates with the Die-namics Mini Pennant die using the pole from this set.

On the centre panel on this card I attached brads along each side and then used Denim Twine to criss cross behind the WTG image.
