Happy Birthday!

Hi everyone,

It's challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. This week being a brand new month we have a new challenge hostess which is Amber Hillman.

Amber says ..... The first week in August is our County Fair. So make a card having some object or an animal that you would find at the fair. And for extra points, have some green on the card as that is the color for 4-H. 4-H is a big part of our fair. I was in it for 10 years and now my kids are all in it.

Now I have no idea what type of animals you would find at a fair in the USA .... down here in Australia I know you would find dogs at our shows .. either dogs that are on show or working dogs working with animals like sheep etc.

As I had made this card and it fitted the theme I decided to use this and look it even has green it in ... bonus!!!!

I have created a Stand-Ups card using the Sizzix Royal Stand-Ups Card Framelits. I was looking at the new Strawberry Basket Die from The Stamps of Life and wanted to use it for something different then just the obvious basket and I thought if you turn it over it resembled the little stand circus dogs etc might use. I did trim down the basket one column so it would work better on my card.

The dog is from The Stamps of Life birthday4cookie stamp set.

Here is my card closed ready to be placed in an envelope.

Don't forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog (goes live 12 AM EST) to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs:
