With You Always

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing a Mini Slimline card I created using stamps, mini slimline dies and papers from Divinity Designs.

To create the Mini Slimline card I used the Mini Slimline Card Base; Mini Slimline Rectangles and Mini Slimline Layering Rectangles die sets.

The paper is from the Landscapes Collection 6 x 6 patterned paper.

I used sentiment stamps from the Scriptures Collection stamp set from the June release.

To finish off the front of my card I added birds which are from the Cowboys and Cactus Silhouettes die set.

For the inside of the card I used the Mini Slimline Rectangles and Mini Slimline Layering Rectangles.

I added another of the sentiments from the Scriptures Collection stamp set and added three more birds.

Spa-tacular Day

 Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing another Slimline Scenescape Card I created using the Mama Elephant Slimline Scenescape Builder die set.

I die cut the main dies included in the Slimline Scenescape Builder die set to die cut the the outer panels using aqua cardstock. The layering panels were die cut using yellow cardstock. For the back panel I die cut a yellow striped patterned paper to create the "wall" of my card.

To decorate my card I used MFT Stamps Spa Day stamp set. I stamped all the images from white cardstock and colored using Copic markers.

The mirror and the towel/towel holder on the back panel of my card are from an older The Scrapping Cottage die set called Shabby Chic Powder Room die set.

I added the sentiment to the front and back panel using two of the sentiments included in the Spa Day stamp set.

To finish off the card, I added "bubbles" to acetate strips using tiny circle dies from Karen Burniston's Flower Pivot Panels die set.

For the back panel of my card I added a strip of the striped patterned paper along the bottom of the rectangle panel. I then adhered the bath to the left side of the card.

The sentiment on the top right hand side of my card is a sentiment I have had in my stash for years from The Cottage Stamper.

Scootin' By To Say

Hi Crafty Friends,

I finally have found some time to play with a few of the Lawn Fawn stamp sets I ordered from their May release.

For my card today I have created a Slimline Card. To create the card I used 3 of Lawn Fawn's Slimline die sets ... Large Slimline with Sliders; Slimline Road Border and Slimline Grassy Hillside Borders.

I also added some trees to the top of my scene using the tree dies included in Lawn Fawn's Shadow Box Card die set.

I used the cute critters riding on their scooters which is from the Scootin' By To Say stamp set.

For the inside of the card, I repeated a few of the elements that I used on the front of the card to create a very simple scene.

I also added sentiments from the Scootin' By To Say stamp set. I did alter the top sentiment a little by substituting the word "Day" with "Birthday"

A Happy Hello

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing a card I created recently using stamps and dies from Divinity Designs April 2021 Blessings Box.

I am just loving the new Paper/Die Duo sets that Divinity Designs included in the April 2021 Blessings Box. There are three different Paper/Die Duo sets each with two different floral designs and a coordinating die for each design.

For my card today I pulled out the rose from the Beautiful Blossoms Paper/Die Duo Set one.

For my card I used Divinity Designs Vintage Labels Flip Fold Card which I die cut from pink cardstock. For the layers I used one of the papers from the Floral Favorites Slimline Paper Pad, the papers included in this collection are gorgeous!

I also used one of the labels from the Vintage Labels die set to add the white label to the top of the label area of the card.

I stamped the sentiment from the Sweet Friend stamp set (also included in the blessings box to the lower portion of the label and then decorate the remainder of the label with the roses.

When you "flip" the card open it reveals another label which is decorated with more roses and another of the sentiments.

Fairy Good Friend

Hi Crafty Friends,

It’s challenge time with the “Crazies” over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. As challenge hostess for the month, I finish off the month with one last challenge.

Apparently Thursday 24th is Fairy Day, so for our challenge this week create a card that includes a fairy/fairies.

For my card today I pulled out Hello Bluebird's Fairy Glade Scene Horizontal Slimline die and the Fairy Garden Stamp set. I used the slimline die to die cut from white cardstock and then colored the various pieces using Distress Oxide inks and Copic markers.

For the inside of the card I used I used Slimline dies from Picket Fence Studios to create both the white and black layers of my card.

I used the Fairy Glade Scene Horizontal Slimline die again to die cut the grass and mushrooms, which I added to the white Slimline panel.  I also added another fairy from the Fairy Garden Stamp set.

I added a birthday sentiment using an older Paper Pretties Stamp set called "Fairy Special".

Don't forget to check out the rest of the “Crazies” cards over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog and also their individual blogs for more details.

Three Strands

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing another card I created using stamps from Divinity Designs June Release.

For my card today I created a Mini Slimline card using the Mini Slimline Card Base; Mini Slimline Rectangles and Mini Slimline Layering Rectangles.

For my background I used the cord stamp included in the Three Stands stamp set which I white embossed repeatedly on my Mini Slimline Rectangle Panel. I then used Distress Oxide inks in red, yellow and blue too create a rainbow background.

I added a sentiment to the front of the card which is also from the Three Strands stamp set and layered using the Double Stitched Circles and Circles die sets.

For the inside of my card I again used the Mini Slimline Rectangles and Mini Slimline Layering Rectangles to create the panels in my card.

I used one of the smaller rectangle dies from the Mini Slimline Layering Rectangles to die cut the strip along the bottom of the card. I white embossed another of the cords to the panel and then blended red ink over the image.

I added another of the sentiments included in the Three Strands stamp set.

Owlsome Birthday

Hi Crafty Friends,

It's challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. Being a brand new month, it's time to introduce our new challenge hostess for the month which is Kelly Santi.

Apparently June 20th is National Eagle Day in the USA so let’s celebrate this national symbol. It’s a time set aside raise awareness about the bald eagle and to preserve the bird's natural habitat. Please use an eagle (or bird) on your card/project to celebrate this winged treasure

One thing my stash is missing is Eagles, so I decided to use my favorite time of bird ... the owl to create my card. My daughter's had recently given me owl stamps for Mother's Day so it was a good opportunity to use those.

As you can see I created a Slimline Pop-up card using Paper Rose Studio's Slimline Portrait Scene die. All the various layers you see on this card all cut separately, so it is easy to color the various different layers however you want.

To decorate my card I used the owl stamps from Uniquely Creative's Little Hoot stamp set and the flowers and "owlsome" sentiment from their Owl Family stamp set.

I layered the flowers over the grass tuffs of the slimline die, as they looked a little like flower stems.

The remainder of the sentiment at the top of the card is from a Honey Bee Stamps stamp set.

For the inside of the card I created a pop-up card using Karen Burniston's Katherine Label Pop-up die set. As you can see I created a double pop-up for this card. I added the "Happy Birthday" sentiments which is from Altenew's Birthday Builder stamp set and added an owl under each part of the sentiment.

I added one of the borders from Scrapbook.com's Slim Borders die set to each of the edges of the card.

Don't forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog (goes live 12 AM EST) to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs:

Koala Slimline Card

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing a Slimline card I created using stamps and dies from Divinity Designs May Release.

My original Design Team parcel for May went missing, so it had to be sent again and it finally arrived with my June release parcel last week ... yay! I had been looking forward to the cute stamp sets and Slimline dies that were included in that release.

For my card today I pulled out the Slimline Circle Windows die which I die cut from green cardstock. I then used one of the sentiments included in the Koala Bear stamp set which I stamped repeatedly over the panel using green ink.

I adhered a panel of white cardstock that I blended blue ink over underneath the slimline rectangle panel.

The koalas and sentiments are all from the Koala Bear stamp set. I used the Sentiment Strip with Layers die set to die cut all of the sentiments.

The Slimline Circle Windows panel was then layered onto a rectangle panel using the largest of the dies from the Slimline Pierced Rectangles die set and then adhered to a Slimline Card using the Slimline Card Base die set.

For the inside of the card I added a green circle which was left over from die cutting the Slimline Circle Window panel for the front of the card.

I added another of the sentiments and the last of the koalas that were included in the Koala Bear stamp set.

Koala-ty Thinking Of you

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing a Mini Slimline Card I created recently.

To create the Slimline portion of the card I used Waffle Flower Crafts Mini Slimline Layers die set to die cut both layers of my card. The top layer used papers from Honey Bee Stamps Hot Tropics 6 x 6 Paper Pad.

The sentiment uses Concord & 9th's Thinking of You Perfect Pairings die set. I die cut the sentiment from Gold and Black cardstock, offsetting the gold over the black die cut to create a shadow effect.

To decorate the card I added the cute koala's from Mama Elephant's Little Koala Agenda stamp set.

The sentiment is a freebie stamp that was included in a free stamp set from a Magazine I purchased a few years ago... Creative Stamping Issue 57.

I added a couple more of the koalas to the white panel.

True Friends

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing a card I created using stamps and dies from Divinity Designs June Release.

To create my card I used the A2 Portrait Card Base with Layer die set to create the card base. I then used paper from the Blushing Rose Collection Paper Pad to layer on the base of the card.

I then used the Boho Background die to die cut the background layer.

For the sentiment I used one of the sentiments included in the Sweet Friend stamp set from the April 2021 Blessings Box. This was layered to the card using the Double Stitched Ovals and Ovals die set.

To decorate my card I added a flower using the Flowering Layering Combo 1 Die set and the Fancy Flourish die.

I kept the inside of the card simple by just adding another of the sentiments from the Sweet Friend stamp set.

A Little Something

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing a card I created using products from Divinity Designs April 2021 Blessings Box. For this kit Divinity Designs has introduced something new ... Paper/Die Duo, this set contains 2 different sets of flower sheets which contain pre-colored floral images and also includes a coordinating die set to die cut the flowers in the sheets. Blessing Box Members can also purchase additional sheets of these flower sheets if needed.

For my card today I used one of the flower sheets from the Beautiful Blossoms Paper/Die Duo Set 2, these are gorgeous and are very helpful for the busy card maker or someone who doesn't like coloring.

The background for my card uses the Leaf Outline Background which is also included in the Blessings Box.

I used two of the labels from the Vintage Labels 2 die set to arrange my flowers around.

The sentiment is from the Sweet Friend Stamp set another item included in the kit.

For the inside of my card, I added the labels I used on the front of my card and added another sentiment included in the Sweet Friend Stamp set.

I added the rose bud images that are also part of the Beautiful Blossoms Paper/Die Duo Set 2.
