Hello Kitty!

CCEE1126 HelloKitty wm

Hi everyone,

It’s challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. This week I bring my final challenge as this month’s challenge hostess.

A couple of months ago I discovered that a few of our CCEE Stamper gals had cricut or electronic die cutting machines and they weren't getting used. So this week's challenge is for them!

This week we are getting out our electronic cutters eg cricut etc. to use to create our cards. Those who haven't used them in a while might have to dust them off, but no excuses!!!!! For those of you who don't have an electronic cutter (cricut etc) you can use any die cut using a cuttlebug, bigshot etc ... but if you have a cricut or other electronic cutter you must use it!!!

I recently purchased the Hello Kitty Cricut cartridge and I have been wanting to create one of their shaped cards that they have for each image. Isn’t that kitty so cute!!!!!!!

Don’t forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog (goes live 12 AM EST) to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs:

Paper: White; Red; Black; Pink

    I Just Called To Say….

    C4C93 Call me wm

    Hi everyone!

It’s Saturday which means it’s challenge time with the “Crazies” over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. Lynda Benden finishes off her month as challenge hostess with sketch challenge.

I turned the sketch on it’s side so that I could use this cute stamp from Kanban Stamps which I got earlier in the year.

    C4C93 Call me2 wm

Here is the inside of my card. I stamped the little girl twice, once onto the card so it was overlapping the white and patterned designer paper and once on white card. I cut the one from white card and attached it over the one on the inside of my card.

    Simple Pleasures!

    PWC159 White wm

    Hi everyone,

It’s time for another Pretties Wednesday Challenge over on the Paper Pretties Blog. This week our challenge is to create a White on White card …. all the card and designer paper used need to be white, no colored cardstock or designer paper.

I always love the look of white on white cards but seldom make them so it is great when a challenge comes up where I have to make them. For my card I used one of the sentiments from the Dream Quotes stamp set.

The white layers are all the same white cardstock I just changed them up by adding different textures to them using embossing folders or dies.

How to Enter: If you would like to play along with us, all you have to do is create a card/project using the above challenge and upload it to your blog and/or to your SCS Gallery using the keyword PWC159.

Don’t forget to include a link to your card on the Paper Pretties Blog, so everyone can see it too. You don’t have to use Paper Pretties stamps to play, but of course if you have them we would love to see you use them. One random participant will receive a Paper Pretties Stamps set … see the Paper Pretties Blog for more details.

For my card I used MFT Stamps PI Wedding Flower Girl, seriously isn’t she just totally adorable!!!!!!!!! I paper pieced her dress using designer paper. I used three MFT Die-namics on the front of my card. First up the Die-namics Dainty Doily Die which I used to go behind the main image as per the sketch. The flower in the lower right hand corner was created using the Die-namics Pretty Posies which I embellished using the Die-namics Leafy Flourish die.

Make A Splash….Who’s That Girl! Hop!

    MFTWTGMermaid wm

Hi everyone and welcome to my blog. It time to join the MFT Stamps Design Team for another MFT "Who's That Girl Hop!" to celebrate the release of this month’s MFT VIP Kit.

The hop started at Kim's blog so if you didn’t start from there you may want to head over there now so that you can start at the beginning of the hop. You don't want to miss anything and believe me there is lots to see!

Today only VIP customers have the opportunity of purchasing the WTG set "Who’s That Mermaid" TWO WEEKS EARLY!!!!!!!!!! There will only be 50 VIP collections available and then the set will be unavailable until the full release on July 5th at 10:00 PM EST.

    MFT_OwnYourStory_PreviewGraphic

Who's that Mermaid VIP Collection $31.90

    • Who's that Mermaid stamp set
    • Mermaid Sentiments mini (VIP exclusive stamp set - will never be offered for sale or be available again $9 value, FREE)
    • Large Rolled Rose Die-namics Die

    à la modes:

    • I Met My Match
    • You Are Unrepeatable

One of the fun things about this stamp set is that all the sea grasses, corals, bubbles etc are all separate to the main WTG image so you can add these as desired to your card. I stamped the WTG on white card and then masked the mermaid and the seabed and airbrushed the sky. Then I masked the sky so I could airbrush the seabed.

Of course being a mermaid which means ocean, I had to use the Die-namics Catch a Wave die which I added to the bottom of my card. I also added the Die-namics Rolled Daisy which reminded me of a sea anemone and I then added the Die-namics Leafy Flourish die to the flower.
