MFTeaser Day 3

Hi everyone,
It’s day 3 of the MFTeasers, in preparation of the release of the new stamp sets which are all due to be released by MFT Stamps this coming Monday 4th February.

Today the Design Team are featuring 3 new stamp sets:

• You Make My Day
• Western Sentiments (this month's Triple Scoop set)
• Inspired By the Wild Wild West.

For my first card today I used the You Make My Day stamp set along with the new Die-namics Large Hybrid Heirloom Rose and Large Leaf Filled Flourish.I have also used the Die-namics Snow Drifts and Steel Grey card.

Here is the inside of my card I used another sentiment from the set.

Stamps: You Make My Day – MFT Stamps

Paper: Sweet Tooth; Steel Grey – MFT Stamps; Forget Me Knot – Kaisercraft

Die-namics: Large Leaf Flourish; Large Hybrid; Foam Tape

Other: Black Ink;

For my second card today I have used the Western Sentiments stamp set along with the Die-namics Barbed Wire Fence. For the sentiment panel I used the Die-namics Hexagon Stax and created the Chalkboard Technique.

I used the Howdy stamp set on the front panel.  Along the bottom of my card, I used the Die-namics Barbed Wire Fence.

Here is the inside of my card. I again used the Western Sentiments & Howdy stamp set along with the Die-namics Barb Wire Fence and the Die-namics Hexagon Stax.

Surf’s Up!

Hi everyone,

It’s challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. This week our challenge hostess for the month Joanne Grzelak continues to issue the challenges.

Joanne say’s that in the Northern Hemisphere they are in the midst of winter, so let’s think HOT. Create a card that is ‘hot’ in temperature, theme, or taste. Could be a sun, a hot pepper, a summer scene, a romance theme…..the variations are endless.

Well it isn’t hard to think hot when you are living in the Southern Hemisphere especially if you live in Australia like I do. We are in the middle of summer and have just recently had a heatwave through the country, thank goodness for air conditioners .

For my card today I decided to go with the summer/beach theme and I used the Penny Black Fun in the Sun stamp set which I have had for over a year and it has been sitting in my please use me box all that time LOL. It has now finally been inked I am pleased to say.

As you can see I have created another pop up card using the Sizzix Pop N Cuts dies, this one uses the base die and then the Pop N Cuts Insert Label 3D. I am having so much fun creating these pop up cards. I still have a few I haven’t used as yet, but I plan to fix that very soon .

Check It Out

It’s Wednesday which means it’s time for this week’s Wednesday Stamp Club sketch over on the MFT Stamps Member Forum of SCS. It’s another fun sketch.

For my card this week I have used the new Laina Lamb Design Document it – Right This Way stamp set which will be released by MFT Stamps next Monday 4th February.

I used the MFT Die-namics Fishtail Flags STAX and Die-namics Fishtail Flags Layers STAX for the sentiment. The other Die-namics on the front of my card is the Die-namics Jumbo Squiggle.

 

Here is the inside of my card, I used more stamps from the Laina Lamb Design Document it – Right This Way stamp set and the Die-namics Jumbo Squiggle.

MFTeaser Day 2

Hi everyone,
Welcome to day 2 of the MFTeasers in preparation of the release of the new stamp sets which are all due to be released by MFT Stamps this coming Monday 4th February.

Today the Design Team are featuring two of the new stamp sets from designer Laina Lamb. The two stamp sets being featured are:

• Laina Lamb Designs Journal It – Library Card
• Laina Lamb Designs Document It – Right This Way

For my card today I combined both the Laina Lamb Designs Journal It – Library Card stamp set and the Laina Lamb Designs Document It - Right This Way stamp set. The library card stamp is another of the stamps that will work with the Die-namics LLD Insert It - 3x4 Insert. The library card is sitting in a pocket which was created using the new Die-namics Insert It – 3 x 4 Pocket. 

The sentiment on the tab on the top of the pocket is Laina Lamb Designs Document It - Right This Way stamp set and there is a tab this same shape in the Die-namics LLD Accent It - Labels and Tabs set.

I have used Kraft Ink, Wild Cherry Ink and Black Licorice Ink on my card. I also used Red Hot card for the base of the card. To  finish of the front of my card I added a Kraft button and hemp cord.

Here is a close up of the library card. The “You + Me” sentiment under the borrowers name on the library card is from the LLD Document It - Off the Chart released last month.

Here is the inside of my card. I used the sentiments from Laina Lamb Designs Journal It – Library Card. The word “Chapter” has been stamped onto one of the labels from the Die-namics LLD Accent It - Labels and Tabs set.
