MFTeaser Day 4

Hi everyone,

It’s day 4 of the MFTeasers, in preparation of the release of the new stamp sets which are all due to be released by MFT Stamps this coming Tuesday 3rd July.

Today the Design Team are featuring the Airplane Greetings Die-namics and Stamp set and Baby Onesie Die-namics and Stamp set.

I had such fun creating this card, which I created using the Airplane Greetings Die-namics and Stamp set. This is such an awesome set and can be used for so many different occasions. I decided to use it to create a birthday card as you can see.

The stamp set comes with over 20 sentiments and a few other stamps which can be used to decorate the airplane. The two circular pieces on my plane were stamped on white card and then punched out and attached to the plane. The lines on the red body of the plane were stamped using white ink. The flag that the sentiment is stamped on is also part of the Die-namics set.

The clouds on the base of my card were created using the new Die-namics Jumbo Clouds Stax, I die cut all the clouds and added them to the blue base before adding the airplane.

 

Here is the inside of my card. This time round I die cut the Die-namics Jumbo Cloud Stax directly onto the blue card and layered it over the white card so you have the negative image for something different. I created an airplane again as per the one on the front of the card but cut off part of the image so it looks like it is soaring into the sky.

The sentiment is from the new My Favorite Sentiments which is also being released on Tuesday. This is a special stamp set to help celebrate MFT Stamps 6th birthday this month! Good On Ya, Mate!

It’s challenge time with the “Crazies” over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. This week Silke Kittmann finishes off hosting this months challenges with another fun and easy challenge.

This week all we had to do is create a tag … easy!

A couple of weeks ago down here in Brisbane we had our annual Scrapbooking and Papercraft Expo and Convention. While there I was lucky enough to meet Irina Blout who is the owner of La La Land Crafts. At the same time La La Land released 4 new La La stamps featuring Marci & Luka with an Aussie theme, off course loving La La Land stamps I had to buy them all. This little cutie is one of those release, he reminds me so much of Steve Irwin’s son Bob.

I used the Spellbinders Creative Book Pages die for the tag shape.

Tomorrow is Another Day!

Welcome to day 3 of the MFTeasers in preparation of the release of the new stamp sets which are all due to be released by MFT Stamps this coming Tuesday 5th June.

Today the Design Team are featuring three of the new stamp sets that will be released, these are Claire Keay – Monkey Business; Complimentary Greetings and Clearly Sentimental About Audrey Hepburn (which will be July’s Triple Scoop set).

For my card today I used a recent SCS Sketch challenge (SC389). I added one of the sentiments from the Clearly Sentimental About Audrey Hepburn at the bottom of my card. The flower was created using the new Die-namics Plentiful Petals die, I added some Stone Twine to the button in the centre of the flower.

Here is the inside of my card, I added another sentiment from the Clearly Sentimental About Audrey Hepburn stamp set. I have decorated the inside of my card using the Die-namics Plentiful Petals.

It’s All About YOU!

It’s day 2 of the MFTeasers, in preparation of the release of the new stamp sets which are all due to be released by MFT Stamps this coming Tuesday 3rd July.

Today the Design Team are featuring 2 stamps sets. I am sharing with you a card I created using the You Lift Me Up Flopsey

It’s also challenge time again with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. This week our challenge hostess Kathy Bradley finishes off the month of challenges with another fun challenge. Make a tag or a card with a tag.

I decided to use the new Die-namics Rounded Banner Stax dies for my tag for this challenge. To get the black layer behind the white panel die cut two Rounded Banners one in black and one in one. I cut the black piece in half and layered it behind the white Rounder Banner. I then just added a piece down the bottom. The piece at the top of the tag was created using the new Die-namics Designer Labels 3 Stax. The tag is layered over the card over the panel created using the Die-namics Fishtail Flags STAX . The sentiment is stamped onto one of the sentiment strips from the Die-namics Sentiment Strip also being released.

I also added some Lemondrop Yellow Twine around the ribbon at the top of my tag.

Here is the inside of my card. I stamped the sentiment onto the new Die-namics Designer Labels 3 Stax. The border was created using the Die-namics Squiggle Jumbo Border.

Keep It Cool!

It’s Wednesday which means it’s time for this week’s Wednesday Stamp Club sketch over on the MFT Stamps Member Forum of SCS. This is another fun sketch!

For my card this week I used the MFT Stamps Pure Innocence Sprinkler Girl stamp set, this is such a fun stamp set don’t you think! I have used two of the new Die-namics on the front of my card. The border down the bottom is the Die-namics Jumbo Border and the sentiment is using the Die-namics Sentiment Strips. I have also used Blossom Twine over the border. I paper pieced the girls swimming costume.

Here is the inside of my card. I stamped the Pure Innocence girl again and added some clouds using the new Die-namics Jumbo Cloud Stax, I added the sentiment onto the larger cloud that I used (this was actually the second largest in the set.

It’s that time again when the MFT Stamps designs team begins showing our MFTeasers in preparation of the new stamps which will be released by MFT Stamps after the release party this coming Tuesday 3rd July.

Today the Design Team are featuring two stamp sets …. Who’s That Girl Straight From the Carton and My Favorite Sentiments.

MFT is so excited to celebrate our 6th birthday this month! It has been our pleasure serving you and look forward to many more years to come.  In honor of the celebration, we have a special offer for you.  From July 3 through July 31, we are offering the My Favorite Sentiments stamp set at the bargain price of just $6 ($17.95 retail value).  The stamp set is a graphic collection of sentiments inspired by you, our valued MFT fans.

Now onto my card for today’s teaser I used the WTG Straight From the Carton stamp set, as you can see I have done a lot of paper piecing for this  image, piecing the shirt, skirt, cushion, chair and wall. I have also used two of the new Die-namics on the front of this card. The flower is the new Die-namics Plentiful Petals cut from My Favorite Felt Blue Skies and I also used the Die-namics Vine Border for the leaves coming from the flower.

Here is the inside of my card. I have added one of the sentiments from the WTG Straight From the Carton stamp set. The sentiment was stamped onto the new Die-namics Designer Labels 3 Stax and I have also used the new Die-namics Jumbo Squiggle Border along the bottom of my card.
