Just Sittin’ Here …

Hello everyone,

It’s challenge time with the “Crazies” over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog.  Our challenge hostess for November Anja, finishes off the month with another fun challenges.

This week we were asked to create Thinking of You cards.

For my card I created a scene using Magnolia stamps and some MFT Die-namics. I have been meaning to use these stamps for a while and finally got around to using them .



For the inside of my card I used another sentiment and a few more MFT Die-namics.

Keep Christmas In Your Heart

Hi everyone,

A couple of weeks ago while I was browsing what others had been pinning over on Pinterest I discovered a new style of card which I immediately had to play with.

This card is called a Block Card … I love how it looks like a pile of kids building blocks! If you want to find out how to create this style of card you can find a video by Papercrafter45 here.

For my card I have used a Penny Black stamp set called Christmas Everyday. I also added some snowflakes to my card.

Here is the back of my Block card, I have added some more snowflakes plus a sentiment.

As you can see by the photo above this card folds flat so it can be placed in a standard envelope to be mailed.

Expect to see more of this style of card from me … it is such fun to play with!

Hello My Friend

Hi everyone,

It’s challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. Cindy Haffner our challenge hostess for November finishes off the month with another fun challenges

This week Cindy has challenged us with a sketch … I have always loved Cindy’s sketches and this one is no exception!

For my card this week I have used There She Goes Stamps “In All The World” stamp set. I used my copic airbrush to add the grass and sky to my card.

Here is the inside of my card. I stamped another sentiment and a couple of images which are also from the same stamp set.

To Deer Friends!

Hi everyone,

I have another Pop N Cuts card to share with you all today, using the Sizzix Pop N Cuts Square Card with Ornate Edge and Sizzix Pop N Cuts Circle Label Insert.

For the front of my card I used this fun reindeer from Stampa Rosa which I have had in my stash for years!. Along the right edge I used one of the borders from the Sizzix Banners & Borders Thinlits set.

On the inside of my card I used the Sizzix Pop N Cuts Circle Label Insert. I also used the Circle Label Embossing Folder to emboss the centre part of the card which includes the circle label pop up piece.

I used the fishtail banner from the Sizzix Banners & Borders Thinlits set for the sentiment.

Hi everyone,

It’s challenge time again over on the Riley and Company blog. This time round it is Michele turn to host the challenge.

In the spirit of US Thanksgiving, make a Thank You card.(Doesn't need to be fall theme, just gratitude)

As you can see I have made a pop up card again this week .

For the outside of my card I used Riley and Company’s Gratitude Funny Bones sentiment.  The sentiment has been stamped onto the Sizzix Wavy Labels Framelits set.

For the inside of my Pop N Cuts card I have used the Sizzix Pop N Cuts Thanks insert with the Sizzix Pop N Cuts A2 Card Base. I have also used the Sizzix Thanks Sizzlits set to layer the Thanks pop up piece.

Sack It To You!

Hi everyone,

There is now only one month to go before Christmas … wow the time is sure flying by don’t you think.

Today I have a few Christmas bags to share with you using Taylored Expressions Sack It To You die and the companion dies that go with it. I am loving these dies and hope they bring out a few for other holidays next year too!

First up I have created the Santa bag which uses the Santa pieces from the Taylored Expressions Sack It To You set.

For the Snowman bags I also used the Sack It – Snowman die set which gives the pieces for the hat, nose, month and eyes. I added some holly to the hat.

Instead of using the die for the eyes I used googly eyes. One tip I discovered if you own all sets, the circle for the eyes/buttons/month etc are all the same size in all sets so it is quicker to use all 3 circles if you have lots cutting to do.

This one uses the Sack It – Reindeer set. Again I substituted the eyes for some Googly eyes and I created a mouth use a thin die I had in my stash.

And finally the Penguin was created using the Sack It – Penguin set. I used designer paper to cut the scarf and hat.
