2023 Year In Review Part 1

 Hi Crafty Friends,

Well we only have a couple more days left of 2023, so as I have done in past years the next two days I will share some of my favourite creations I have made in the past year.

It is always hard to select just one or two cards / projects for each month, especially when I have created so many! This year I have slowed down a little bit more in my postings, taking a break from posting anything on Wednesday's as well as weekends. There have been a few times I have posted if the need arose, but that wasn't all that often.

This year seeing that it is so hard to select just one, I am going to do this review in two parts, today and tomorrow and have decided 3 or 4 cards/projects for each month.

Here is the selection I came up with, if you click on the card it will take you to the original post.

January

February

March

April

May

June

Well that is it for the first 6 months, I will be back tomorrow with part 2 of my year in review. Thanks for looking, if you got this far.

Yummy Birthday Wishes

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing a birthday card I created recently.

I have used the Made To Surprise by Sam Calcott's Double Interlocking Concertina die set from the  Showstoppers 2 Collection. I am enjoying creating cards with this die set.

To decorate my card I used the new Baked Delights Collection released in November.

This is a look at my card when the card is closed.

Here is a look at my card, from the back. I added another panel to the back for a place to add a sentiment and a personal greeting. I also stamped a couple more images onto the panel.

Let the Adulting Begin

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing the first of two eighteenth birthday cards I needed to make for my daughter, as she has two nieces turning 18 in January.

For both cards I have used Creative Craft Products 18 from their Numbers Galore Collection.

For this card, I added the "18" to the front of Creative Craft Products A6 Window Card die set.

I added the "Congrats" and "Let the adulting begin!" to the front of the number "18".

I added the hands & wine glasses to the panels on the outer portion of the card, which are both using dies from MFT Stamps.

Here is a look at my card when it is closed ready to be placed in an envelope. It measures 6 inches square when closed.

Here is a look at my card from the back, the panels are easier to see in this view as the "18" hides a lot on the front.

I added a white panel to the centre so I can add the sentiment and a hand written greeting to the recipient.
