Need A Lift!

Hi all,

My card today is for this week’s Pretties Wednesday Challenge which you can find over on the Paper Pretties Blog.

This week the challenge is a color challenge: Summer Fun…use colors that remind you of summer.

Well for me one of the first things I think about when I think about summer is the sun!!!!!!!!!! The sun helps keep us pretty hot while we are enjoying all those summer activities. So I went with the colors that remind me of the sun … the warm colors …. Red, Orange & Yellow!

I used the cute Celebrate Sophia for my card …  this is another of the new sets that were released by Paper Pretties last week.

Besides the colors …. I also used embossing folders that remind me of the sun, both of these are from the Tim Holtz range of embossing folders … on the yellow panel Retro circles and Rays on the orange panel.

 

Here is the inside of my card, I added one of the sentiments included in the set and also just the balloon that Sophia was holding!
