Mahalo My Friend

Hi Crafty Friends,

I have another fun card to share with you today, using products from Spellbinders June 2026 All Club Crate. 

For this card I created a Double Z Fold Card.

For the background of my card I used the Island Style 3D Embossing Folder to create the textured panel. As this is a directional Embossing Folder, I had to emboss it in two parts as I was embossing a landscape panel rather than portrait. After embossing the panel I used white pigment ink over the raised design to bring out the texture a little better.

To decorate the card, I used Aloha Hula die set to create the hula girl and the lamp beside her. This set is one that you only get if you subscribe to the whole crate.

I added the drum from the Luau Beats die set which was the stitched die of the month, and yes I even stitched it! I decorated around the drum using flowers and leaves from the Tropical Blooms die set which was the large die of the month.

The sign is from the Clear Stamp / Die of the month, as is the sentiment near the girl.

Here is a look at my card when it is closed ready to be placed in an envelope.

I added a panel to the back of the card, so I could add a sentiment and a few more flowers.

 

A Splash of Happy

Today I am sharing a 5 x 7 Shaker card I created using products from Spellbinders June 2026 All Club Crate.

I used the inner decorative frame die from the Mahalo Sea Turtle die set to cut a hole into my blue card.  I then embossed this panel using the August 2025 3D Embossing Folder - Underwater Waltz. After embossing, I went over the raised area with white pigment ink to highlight the embossed areas. I then die cut a the outer & inner frame die  from holographic card and adhered it over the blue piece on the main card.

I created a shaker card using foam tape and acetate, filling the opening with various colours of sequins, before adhered it to a 5 x 7 top folding white card.

To decorate the front I added the turtle from the Mahalo Sea Turtle die set.

I used the large die of the month - Tropical Blooms to create the flowers & foliage on the lower left side of my card.

To finish off the front of my card, I added a sentiment using the This Way To Rainbows Clear Stamp /Die set. I also added a few of the holographic circles that fell out when making the frame to add randomly to the card.

For the inside of the card, I added a blue panel to the bottom of the card and then added the green turtle.

For the sentiment I added a birthday sentiment from LDRS Essential Birthday Sentiments stamp set.

I Mustard-Mit

Today I am sharing a 5 x 7 Hot Dog themed birthday card I created using products from Hero Arts & Spellbinders.

To create the background for my card I used Spellbinders Stripe Right die set to die cut card in two yellow colours and a red. I layered these stripes onto a piece of 5 x 7 thin white card in order of size until I filled the card. I then used Spellbinders Market Weave Embossing Folder to add texture to the panel. This was then cut down to 4 3/4 x 6 3/4 and adhered to the front of a top folding 5 x 7 white card.

To decorate the card, I used Hero Arts Hot Diggity Dog and Squeeze Bottle die sets to create the hot dog and tomato sauce/mustard bottles. Before adding the sauce bottles to the card I used the Many Franks Clear Stamp set to add the fun sentiments to them.

I wanted to add a birthday sentiment to the bottom of the card so used one from Karen Burniton's Word Set 2 - Birthday die set.

To finiish the front of the card I added some red gems to it.

For the inside of the card I added a few more stripes to the bottom of the card, embossing these panels with the embossing folder used for the front.

I added two sentiments, one from the Hot Dog Clear Stamp set and the other from the Many Franks Clear Stamp set. 

To finish off the inside I added two more sauce bottles on either side of the greeting.

Hot Diggity Dog

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing a fun Accordion Stepper card using dies from Hero Arts Coney Club Collection.

To create the card base I used Studio Light's Building Blocks die set which creates the Accordion Stepper.

To decorate my card I used the Hot Dog Stamp set from Hero Arts, as you can see this has a hot dog/dachshund theme.

For the yellow and red panels on the smaller squares I used Hero Arts Cookout Stencil.

I added panels to the back of the card, so I could use the extra images and have a place to write a personal sentiment to the recipient when the time comes.

 

Crawling By To Say Hi!

 

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing a fun Double Z Fold Card using dies from Pretty Pink Posh.

I used their Caterpillar Holder and Stitched Dandelions die sets to create this card.

I put the caterpillar on the front brown panel and then added the flowers to the back panel and surrounding the caterpillar at the back.

For the sentiment on the sign the caterpillar is holding I used a sentiment set from Karen Burniston called Bug Greetings. 

I added another dandelion to the lower left side of my card and also added a ladybug. For the sentiment I used one from Made To Surprise's Bug Additions stamp/die set.

Welcome to my blog! My card today uses products from Hero Arts “My Monthly Super Hero” kit for June 2026.

For the background of my 5 x 7 card base, I used the Reflection Layering stencil. To create the girl I used the Sipping Summer die set. I added the birthday sentiment to the hat using the Fabulous Phrases stamp & cut.

For the inside of my card, I repeated the stencilling along the bottom & added another hat.

The sentiment is from the sentiment included in the Spellbinders Just Add Cake stamp set.

From Our Home To Yours

 

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing a 5 x 7 card using the new Spellbinders Whimsical Village Collection designed by Vicky Papaioannou.

I started with the second largest arch from the Perfect Touch Arches & Tag die set which I die cut from Cascade Colorwheel Cardstock. I then used the Whimsical Skies 3D embossing folder to add texture to the arch. 

I created some green grass using an older Lawn Fawn die and added this to the bottom of the arch.

I used various colours of cardstock to die cut the houses, flowers & cat using the Whimsical Houses, Whimsical Blooms & Whimsical Companions die sets and added them to create my scene. This panel was then layered onto a black arch.

I created a top folding 5 x 7 card from white cardstock. I cut another white panel which I embossed using the Whimsical Skies 3D embossing folder which I added to the front of the card. 

The sentiment is from the Whimsical Wishes Clear stamp set.

For the inside of the card I added another house & flower to the lower left hand corner.

I added the birthday sentiment which is from LDRS Essential Birthday Sentiments stamp set.

Birthday Slimline

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing a cute Slimline card using some of the Peanuts characters.

The images are stamps that was the freebie stamp set included in the Creative Stamping Magazine issue 156. Someone post on Facebook the week before Mother’s Day that she found the magazine in a newsagent down here in Australia. So I messaged my daughter’s asking if they were near a newsagents could the see if they had it. Fortunately my eldest daughter found it and gave it to me for Mother’s Day, which I was happy about 😊.

The grass is from an older MFT Stamps die set & the clouds & sun are from Spellbinders Tunnel Clouds die set.

For the inside of the card I added another Peanuts image & sentiment from the stamp set.

Make A Splash

Today I am sharing a fun 5 x 7 Pop up card with a see through front. This is called a 2 Tier card, you can find the tutorial by Sam Calcott here.

For my card I started with the background which was created using Hero Arts Lake of Legends Stencil set. To decorate the card I used the Gentle Giant die set. 

I didn’t want to hide too much of the background or the sea creature, so I changed the sizes and number  of my tiers. Sam’s card used 3 pop ups, I opted for 2. 

I used the stencil to continue the water on my pop up panels. 

Here you can see my card when it is closed. As it has acetate on the front panel, you can see most of the inside when it is closed.

I added a panel on the back, so I could add a sentiment and have space to write a personal message to the recipient.

Winning Moves

Earlier in the month I shared a Box Front card I created inspired by a tutorial by Jennifer McGuire, you can see that tutorial here. Today I am sharing a Chess themed card which uses the same technique.

I used the Harlequin 3D Embossing Folder, Harlequin Layered Stencil & black ink to create the chess board which I added to the front & the two narrower panels which are revealed as the card is opened.

The chess pieces were created using Spellbinders Chess & Checkers die set. I added sentiments using the Well Played Sentiments stamp set.
