Hi everyone,
Recently while checking the blog updates on my Google Reader I came across a blog called Mariannes Papirverden and she was showing a Triangle Star card that she had created.
I am calling it a Triangle Star card because the star is made using a triangle shape and all the points are triangles and there are already a number of cards out there which are called Star cards so I figure this will distinguish this one from the others a bit better. I can be so confusing when one card has the same name as another.
I loved the idea so much that I had to make one, I actually ended up making two and this was the second one. I will be sharing my first one in a week or two’s time. These are really easy to make and all you need to start is a piece of card that is 12 x 12 or 30cm square.
Here is a side on view of my card. I made this one for a group of friends to recreate for our project for a club I attended last Friday. It was my turn to select a project for us all to make.
Here you can see the inside of my card.
And one more view of my car when it is fully opened up.

This is lovely! I really like the papers you used. I am going to go find the instructions to make this. I love trying new shapes. tfs.
Thank you for leaving the comment on my blog today about my messed up post!! I did know how to fix it. Know why? Cuz I did the same thing about 6 months ago!! WHAT?! I KNOW! Wasn't my first and won't be my last!! But I am feeling better as so many gals jumped to my rescue and told me (you in this case) how to fix it and others not to worry about it. I so appreciate how fast it all happened and wanted to express my gratitude to you about taking the time to leave a message to help me. THANK YOU SO MUCH! Women truly rule the world!! LOL!! Hugs!
Frances, this is fantastic! Thanks for the links back to the Norwegian -- boy is Google translation kinda crappy -- I've never actually used it before, but I know how colloquialisms can get! But I think I got the star figured out -- stay with equilateral and I should be OK. I'm totally seeing this in blues and whites for Jewish holidays, I'm always looking for ideas for something special for my Jewish friends!
wow- zers Frances, what a perfect card...
Thanks for sharing the card and where to get the insttructions.
Love It

Gorgeous card. Thanks for the inspiration to try something new.
Frances, I was going to send you an e-mail but the link to your e-mail address would not work on my comptuer for some reason.
I followed the trail to the instructions and had a little bit of trouble with the translation. I thought I had it figured out but my card will not close as much as yours so I think I have the measurement between the two folds wrong. I'll play with it to see if I can figure it out. But if you have a minute and wouldn't mind sending me that measurement, I'd appreciate it. Thank you.
