It’s challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. This week our hostess Joanne Grzelak, has given us another fun challenge.
Joanne says we are all entering a time of bright blue skies (for us, spring…. for Hoots(that’s me), fall), so our challenge this week is to create a monochromatic card with BLUES (neutrals allowed).
For my card today I used one of Alota Rubber Stamps new mini stamps, this one is the Mini Windmill. I used the spotlight technique with this image. I stamped it twice onto white card, one I cut into a rectangle shape and the other I punched out just the windmill use one of my circle dies. I colored the windmill blue (and a little green too … but you need blue to make green right!).
The pleated strip along the bottom portion of my card was created using MFT Die-namics 3/8" Rosette die.

Love that mini windmill Frances!! I'm Dutch, so windmills have always caught my eye. Love the tulips too!! What a beautiful card!
I've been using these colors a lot lately...gotta love them!!
