Hoot Hoot Hooray!

MFTWSC91 OwlCostume wm

Hoot Hoot Hooray … so what am I hooting about?????? Well because it’s Wednesday which means it’s time for this week’s Wednesday Stamp Club sketch over on the MFT Stamps Member Forum of SCS. It’s another fun sketch!

This week I grabbed MFT Stamps Pure Innocence Owl Costume stamp set to create my card. I guess it’s no big surprise that I can put this set down LOL! This time round I paper pieced the girls owl costume using designer paper. The girl is stamped and layered using the Die-namics Rectangle Stax 1 & 2.

I used the Die-namics Fishtail Flags STAX for the piece on the left hand side of the card. Along the edge of the panel on the left I also used the Die-namics Postage Stamp Edge. All my designer paper pieces etc are layered using the new Steel Grey Cardstock, I am loving this new color. And along the bottom right side I have used 3 of the Steel Grey Buttons.

Here is the inside of my card, I stamped the PI Owl Costume girl again at the bottom of my card and added the birthday sentiment from the set. Along the left side I added the Die-namics Fishtail Flags STAX .

We encourage you all to play along, and to enter your card in the weekly draw for a $15 gift voucher to the MFT Boutique. Simply follow the sketch and create a card or other paper creation. You may use any stamps and supplies that you wish. Each week, a keyword is assigned to the sketch. All you need to do to enter, is upload your card to the gallery at SCS, and enter the given keyword in the keyword box, during the upload process. After the deadline, we randomly choose a winner from that week's entries and the winner will receive a $15 gift voucher. If the winning card uses MFT stamps, the participant will earn a $5 bonus, for a total of a $20 gift voucher! That is up to $100 per month in prizes, JUST for playing along. We hope you'll join us in 2012.

Check out the FAQ - Wednesday Stamp Club thread if you need any further info on this challenge or help on how to upload your card to the SCS gallery.

Be sure to check out Kim's Blog, she will have a full list of all the designers participating in today's challenge!
