Today I am sharing a Halloween themed Money Card, that I created recently to give to one of my grandchildren for Halloween in October. 

This is another of the projects I created using products from Spellbinders August 2026 All Clubs Crate which had a Halloween theme to the products.

If nothing else I know the grandkids will love this, as there is money rolled up in the clear piece at the bottom of the card!

For this money card, I used the Small Die of the Month ... Boo Crew Lab and the 3D Embossing Folder ... Spooky Web.

I also used a sentiment from the Clear Stamp/Die of the Month ... Trick or Snark.

To create the Money Card itself, I used another older MFT Stamps die set called Money Card.

I decorated the back of my money card using s few more die cut images and a sentiment. 

The money can be retrieved from the card by pulling the part of the note which is peeking out of the slit on the back of the card.

Raise a Glass

Today I am sharing a birthday themed Slimline Pop-up card I created recently. It seems forever since I have made a Slimline card and I do enjoy making them, so much so that some years ago I established a Slimline Addicts Facebook Group which now has over 9000 members! It's good to be able to make one again finally.

For the front of the card I used products from Spellbinders Papercrafts. The hand and friendship beads are from the Beads of Friendship Collection, for this card I used two of the die sets and the Betterpress set from this collection which you can see in the supply list below. The drink is from the Love on the Rocks die set.

For the background I used Spellbinders Rosette Burst 3D Embossing Folder which was part of the November Club Kits, I just love this embossing folder. I embossed on white cardstock and then used my blending brushes to add Spun Sugar Distress Oxide ink over the top. I also splattered black ink over the background.

To finish off the front of the card I added a sentiment which is from an older MFT Stamps stamp set called "Raise a Glass".

For the inside of the card, I first decorated the two side panels using the same background I used on the front of the card.

I then used the new Karen Burniston Triple Platform Pop-up to add my three sentiments. This is such a fun pop-up and is one of the new dies from Karen's January release. The two side sentiments are from the same stamp set and the one of the front. The top one is from a The Greetery stamp set.

18th Birthday

Happy New Year to you all and thanks for stopping by my blog, I hope 2024 is a good year for us all!

Today I am sharing the second 18th birthday card I created for my daughter to give to her nieces who are turning 18 this month.

I have again used the large number 18 from Creative Craft Products 18 die set from their Numbers Galore Collection.

As the nieces are twins, I kept the elements I used on the cards the same. I just changed up the style of card I created and the papers, so they are a little different.

As you can see, this time around I created a Z Fold Card.

I added the hands holding the wine glasses to the inner panel. I also added a birthday sentiment.

Here is a look at my card when it is folded ready to be placed in an envelope. This card is approximately 6 1/2 inches tall by 6 inches wide.

And finally a look at the back of my card, I added a birthday sentiment and a couple of balloons.

A Gift For You

Today I am sharing a Gift Card Holder I created recently.

To create this gift card holder, I used MFT Stamps Money Card and Gift Card Pocket die sets. I love using these sets to create either Money Card or Gift Card Holders.

To decorate my gift card holder, I used the candy cane from Spellbinders Stocking Full of Joy die set which was a recent large die of the month set a few months back.

I added a Christmas sentiment to the top portion of the label on the front of the gift card holder using a stamp set from Made to Surprise. The other portion of the sentiment is from MFT Stamps Gift Card Greetings stamp set.

On the back of the gift card holder, I added the "to & from" sentiment and then another of the sentiments from the Gift Card Greetings stamp set.

Parum Pa Pum Pum

Today I am sharing yet another Christmas card. For this card I used Made To Surprise by Sam Calcott's 5 x 7 Side Panel Card die set from her Showstoppers Collection.

I used the Little Drummer Boy stamp set from Daisy Mae Designs Nativity Collection. I love all the cute kid images included in this collection.

Along the right hand panel, I added the "Merry Christmas" using the Stacked Merry Die set from MFT Stamps. The "Christmas' is from Creative Craft Products Honeycomb Christmas stamp set.

On the back of the card, I added a white panel for a stamped sentiment and a place to write a personal greeting. I also added a patterned paper panel on the left side of the card.

Halloween Gift Cards

Today I am sharing two Halloween themed Money/Gift Card holders that I made to add to the Halloween Gift Bags I made for my grandchildren for Halloween.

For the Money Cards I used MFT Stamps Money Card Die-namic and Gift Card Die-namics. 

 Although I am adding money to these cards, I decided to use the Gift Card die along the bottom of the card, rather than one of the money card options I have used in the past.

To decorate my money cards, I used patterned papers from Made To Surprise by Sam Calcott's Spooktacular Collection. I also used the Halloween themed ephemera which is from the same Collection.

I added a stamped sentiment using the Halloween sentiments stamp set also from Made to Surprise.

Beer Day Money Card

I needed a Money Card for a recent male birthday, as the card I was giving was a beer themed card I decided to make a money card to match.

I am not the biggest fan of giving money for birthdays etc, but sometimes it is more convenient to everyone involved. Since getting this Money Card die set from MFT Stamps last year, it has certainly made it a lot more fun! ... for me anyway, as I get to design the money card.

Here is a look at the money card with the card I will be giving. I made the card back in January this year, and you can see the blog post with the info about the card here. 

When I went to make the beer mug using MFT Stamps' Frosty Beer Mug die set, I found one already made, so I used that. I pulled out my In Good Hands die set and created the hands holding the beer mug. Fortunately I had another sheet of the designer paper I used on the original card,  so I used that for the background.

Here is the back of my money card, there is a slot at the bottom for the recipient to be able to pull the money out without destroying the money holder. 

I added two sentiments to the top portion of the back of the money holder. The first is from MFT Stamps Birthday Cash Stamp set and the second from the Here's To You Stamp set, also from MFT Stamps.

Dragons and Fairy Tales

According to the Days of the Year website, today (9th August) is National Book Lovers Day. As I have been wanting to make an easel card using the Made To Surprise by Sam Calcott's Pop Up Wiper Book die set, I thought it was the perfect time to pull the die out and play.

To decorate my card, I used two dragon themed stamp sets from MFT Stamps to create my dragon themed fairy tale book.

I used Creative Craft Products Birthday Card Inside Out Sentiments die set to add the stopper to the base of my card. I also used a sentiment from an older Hero Arts Monthly kit to add the stamped sentiment underneath the stopper.

Here is a look at my card when it is folded. There is a fair bit of bulk to this card, approximately 3/4 - 1 inch depth, so it would need to either be hand delivered or placed in a box for mailing.

Here is a look at the base of my card, when the top portion is lifted up. There is plenty of room on the white area to write a personal greeting. 

On the back portion of the card, I added a panel so I could add another sentiment. This sentiment is from a stamp set from Scrappy Tails Craft.

Teacher Mini Slimline Shaker

Today I am sharing a Teacher themed Mini Slimline Shaker Card I created recently. I still need to build up my stock of teacher cards, so I have enough for my grandchildren to give to their teachers at the end of the year. I am slowly getting there.

Trinity stamps recently released some Flat Acetate Shaker Pouches in various card formats. I decided to get a few different options to try out. For my card today I decided to try out the Mini Slimline Shaker Pouches, these pouches fit on a rectangle that measures 2 3/4 inches x 5 3/4 inches. As I wanted to add a layer as well as a border on my Mini Slimline card, I made my card so it was 3 1/4 inches x 6 1/4 inches. The shaker pouches also have a protective backing on them, so make sure you remove that before you attach the shaker to your card ... don't ask me how I know!

To decorate my card I used the book stacks, owl and cat from Clearly Besotted's Rhyme Time stamp set.

Here is a look at the shaker when it has been shaken and laying on my desk, so you can see the shaker portion of the card.

I added the die cut "teacher" which is an older die from Heffy Doodle Stamps. I also added the "#1" using Karen Burniston's Mini Alphabet and Numbers die set.

For the layers of my. card, both inside and out I used Trinity Stamps' Mini Slimline Stitched Layers Stack die set.

For the sentiment I used MFT Stamps' Teach, Sleep, Repeat stamps set for the "Thank You and Teacher" the remainder of the sentiment is from Heffy Doodle Stamps Teach Me Words stamp set.

I also added the apple which is from a Mama Elephant stamp set.

Best Birthday Money Card

Today I am sharing a money card I created recently to hold some money for my grandson's 13th birthday.

I used MFT Stamps Money Card Die-namics for the money card base and the Birthday Cash stamp set for the sentiment.

The large "13" in the centre of the money card uses the Made To Surprise by Sam Calcott's Large Modern Numbers die set.

I kept the back of the money card fairly plan, just adding another of the sentiments from the Birthday Cash stamp set to the panel.
