Penguin for a Friend!
I made this for a friend who loves penguins who celebrated her 50th birthday earlier in the week!
The penguin itself is made using a set of pear dies from Some Assembly Required ... they have a number of fantastic stamps, stencils and dies which allow you to make 3 D items like I have here!
It may look like this would have taken me a long time ... but in truth this most probably was quicker to make then some of the cards I post here all the time ... it helps that I have made many things using this die besides the penguin of course.
And sorry no I don't have instructions for this particular item ... mainly because you HAVE to have either the pear stamp, stencil or die to be able to create it in the first place .... and if you have either of those items then it is just a matter of following the instructions that come with that item but substituting the colors as shown here.
Recipe:
Paper: White; Black; Red; Yellow
Other: Pear Dies - Some Assembly Required; Googly Eyes
********** I still haven't heard back from the winner of my Rubbernecker Bucks Blog Candy I announced here on Wednesday ( Melissa) .... I will give her another 24 hrs to email me (link on sidebar) and if I haven't heard from her then I will draw out a new name. ***********

I love this little penguin!! He's so adorable! I have several of SAR's dies and stamps and I love them, as do the recipients of my cards. People always get a charge out of interactive cards:) They're so fun!!!! Thanks for sharing.
