Ruffles!

CCEE1042-Ruffles-wm

Hi everyone,

It’s time for another challenge with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. This week Shirley our challenge hostess for October has given us another fun challenge. Our challenge is to incorporate a ruffle that you have created yourself. You can use paper, ribbon or material.

With Christmas getting closer and closer, I decided to use one of my Lili of the Valley Christmas images to create a Christmas card. I used a recent Taylored Expressions sketch (TESC130).

To create my ruffle I used my sewing machine to stitch a row of long stitches along my grosgrain ribbon.

Here is the inside of my card, I used a sentiment from a sentiment set that I purchased on a recent shopping trip with friends.

Don’t forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog (goes live 12 AM EST) to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs:

Stamps: Star Of Wonder – Lili Of The Valley; Sentiment –Do Crafts
Paper: White; Red; Kraft; Jovial DP – Basic Grey
Other: Black Ink; Let It Snowflake Die-namic Die; Grosgrain Ribbon; Red Brad; Foam Tape; Copics
