This Christmas Keep Calm ...

 

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing a Christmas card I created recently. I didn't get around to making many Christmas cards for August, but I did make over 20 in July so I guess that is a good start. I will work on making more in September.

For this card I pulled out my supplies from Hero Arts Vintage Vinyl Collection again. This time using the smaller record from the Record Collection die set and also a couple of the stamp sets which are all linked below in the supply list.

This card is inspired by one Nicole Sphor made recently on a YouTube live she did, I did make a couple of changes to mine, but it is very similar to hers.

I used Altenew's Festive Greenery die set to added a little touch of Christmas to the card.

For the inside of the card, I decided to use the cut of pieces of the records from the front of the card ... why waste them. I also added a strip of embossed cardstock to the bottom edge.

Finally I added a sentiment from one of the stamp sets.

Today I am sharing two more fun Oval shaped Christmas cards using products from Spellbinders Spectacular Christmas Collection.

For both my cards I used the Essential Arches & Color Block Arches die sets to create the oval shaped card bases.

To decorate the card above I used the Penguin die set using the body from the Bear die set. I added the cute glasses/spectacles also included I the die set. The present is a sticker.

All the sentiments used on these cards are from the Spectacular Holiday Sentiments stamp/die set.

For my second card, I used the Deer die set again with the Bear die set for the body.

Here is a look at the inside of the card, which is the same as the first card other than the paper.

Spectacular Christmas

Today I am sharing two Arch shaped Christmas cards I created recently using products from the Spectacular Collection from Spellbinders. 

For my cards today I used the Spectacular Christmas Bear die set to create a brown bear for the card above. I also created one in white to create a polar bear. The die set comes with a couple of options to add glasses/spectacles to the images.

I used the Essential Arches & Color Block Accent Arches die sets to create the arch shapes. 

For all the sentiments on these cards I used the coordinating sentiment stamp set. I had been looking for the sentiment set as where I purchased the dies didn’t have the sentiments. Well I finally ordered them and then Australia Post delivered to the wrong address … arghhh! Fortunately when I contacted them, my husband recognised the description of the photo showing delivery so after a week extra waiting my stamps finally showed up.

Here is my polar bear version of the card. Instead of adding the cupcake to this one I used the cute snowman included in the July 2026 All Clubs Crate bonus die set.

Here is a look at the inside of the card, which is the same as the first just different papers used.

Winterberry Poinsettia

Today I am sharing four Christmas cards I created using products from Altenew.

For this card I used the Winterberry 3D Embossing Folder & coordinating stencils. I figured while I have all the inks etc out I might as well make 4 as one, after all I need to make a number of cards to send out each Christmas.

Here is a close up of my card. After stencilling the card, I added gold splatter to the card.

For the sentiments I found some already made gold glimmer foiled Christmas sentiments. I had two of each type of sentiments, so I used those on these cards. 

This is the same card as the one above, just the sentiment is differed. Two say "Season's Greetings" and the other two say "Merry Christmas".

I kept the inside fairly simple, added a red strip that I also gold splattered to the bottom of the card.

I also stamped a Christmas sentiment in gold to the top portion of the card. This is an older stamp set from my stash.

Pink Poinsettia

Today I am sharing two A6 Christmas cards I created using products from Altenew.

To create the poinsettia I used Altenew’s Lush Botanicals: Poinsettia Die set & 3D Embossing Folder. 

I added a textured background using Spellbinders July 2026 3D Embossing Folder of the Month … Festive Greetings.

The sentiment is from the Merry Messages Betterpress Plate which i foiled with gold glimmer foil.

I stamped an older Christmas sentiment to the inside of my card using gold ink.

From The Jolliest Duo

Today I have a Christmas themed 5 x 7 card I created recently using products from Spellbinders July 2026 All Clubs Crate set.

The tree, Santa & elf are all from the Large Die of the Month called Merry Shuffle. I used the Press & Foil set called Festive Forest to silver foil the background panel of blue cardstock.

I added the cute sentiment which is from the Clear Stamp/Die of the Month ... Cue the Merry.

I had a tiny strip of the foiled cardstock left over after die cutting the front of my card, so I used that to add to the bottom of the card.

I added two sentiment from the Cue the Merry Stamp/Die set and also added a row of the Christmas lights which were also left over after making the front of the card.

Ho Ho Ho

Today I am sharing four 5 x 7 cards using the Jolly St Nick Collection from Concord & 9th.

Last year I used this set to create Santa shaped cards, so I wanted to use it on a rectangle card this time round.

To create this card I started by taking the main die from the Jolly St. Nick die set to cut the Santa face shape. 

Next I took the coordinating Jolly St. Nick Stencil set to add the details for the face, hat etc. This was pretty easy to line up.

I used 12 x 12 patterned paper for the background. I was able get 4 pieces of 5 x 7 panels out of the sheet with clever cutting.

I die cut the speech bubble from white & blue spruce cardstock, offsetting the blue spruce panel behind the white one. I used the coordinating stamp set to add the “Ho Ho Ho” to add to the speech bubble.

For the inside of the card, I used the narrow left over patterned paper strip to the bottom of the card. I added the sentiment which is also from the coordinating stamp set.

Merry Little Christmas

Today I am sharing another Christmas themed Slimline card, using products from Spellbinders July 2026 All Clubs Crate set. 

The reindeer is from the July 2026 Stitched die of the month, I opted not to do any stitching, using the Embossing Folder  of the month ... Snuggly Knit instead.

I have used this layout a few times lately on a Slimline Card, I like how you don't have to use such a large image/design but still can create a Slimline. I used the embossing folder again to add texture to the green panels above and under the main image.

The cute teddy the reindeer is holding is another bonus die set you receive if you order the All Clubs Crate.

I added sentiments using the Merry Sentiments Clear Stamp/Die set designed by Lisa Horton for Spellbinders. The snowflakes behind the reindeer are from the Clear Stamp of the month.

For the inside of the card, I added another embossed panel to the bottom and an older Made to Surprise sentiment to the top of the card.

Today I am sharing another Christmas Card using some of the products from Spellbinders July 2026 All Clubs Crate.

For my card today I created a Slimline Card using the Small Die of the Month, I love those cute penguins. It's summer down here at Christmas time, but I do enjoy making a few wintery cards for Christmas. 

For the snow portion of my card, I used the Streamline Embossing Folder designed by Simon Hurley for Spellbinders. 

I added two sentiments, one from the July 2026 Press & Foil set of the month and the other an older Mama Elephants stamp ... if I have penguins on a Christmas card, I have to use that sentiment lol!

I added a older Christmas sentiment from Made To Surprise and added the snow embossing folder and penguin to the bottom.

Cue The Holiday

Today I am sharing two 5 x 7 Christmas cards using mostly products from Hero Arts Hero Handmade Holiday Workshop 2025. I didn’t get around to playing with anything in this kit last year, as the end of the year wasn’t the greatest for me, ending up in hospital 3 times in 3 months. But I do love anything record related.

Earlier this month, Hero Arts released all the products included in this set individually so those who didn’t get it back then could purchase it now. Included in this release are two stamp sets for occasions other than Christmas that can be used with the records. I can’t wait to play with those.

For the background on this card I pulled out Spellbinders Poppy cardstock & the Music Notes Embossing Folder.

I used the Drop the Needle die set to create the record & record player parts. I used two of the sentiments from the Swinging Christmas stamp set to add the record label in the centre of the record.

To finish off the front of the card, I added a Christmas sentiment from Waffle Flower Crafts.

 

For the inside of the card, I added the left over piece of embossed card along the bottom edge. I added a sentiment from the Wishing You stamp set.
