Hi everyone,
It’s challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. It’s my turn to host the challenges for the month.
Did you know that the baseball was invented on June 12th 1839, so for our challenge this week is to create a card that has a sports theme. The sport doesn’t have to be baseball.
I recently received an order from Lili of the Valley and one of the stamps in the order was this cute little cricketer. Now being an Aussie one our favorite sports is Cricket so of course I had to order this. It is so hard getting cricket themed stamps!
The sentiment on the front is actually a circle but as I didn’t have room for the whole stamp I just cut off the bottom part of the sentiment and attached it to my card.
Here is the inside of my card. The sentiment at the top is one I have had forever from Darcie Rubber stamps. The ticket is a new one from Whimsy Stamp, it is a die and a stamp set, I used the blank ticket and stamped in an old happy birthday sentiment in the centre.
Don’t forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog (goes live 12 AM EST) to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs:
