Hi everyone,
I have another couple of MFTeasers to share with you all today in readiness of the MFT Stamps new release, this coming Tuesday 7th August.
Today the MFT Design team are featuring the “Pure Innocence” range, and this month there will be five brand new Pure Innocence sets to be released … you are going to love them!!!!!! The PI’s to be released include: PI EMT Boy; PI EMT Girl; PI Picture Perfect; PI Loads of Love; and PI Piggy Bank .
For my first card today I used the Pure Innocence Picture Perfect stamp set. I used this month’s MFT Guest Designer Challenge for the layout of my card. You still have plenty of time to enter the challenge for your chance to win Over $200 in Products! and also be the next MFT Guest Designer.
The girl was stamped and layered using the Die-namics Rectangle STAX Set 1 and Die-namics Rectangle STAX Set 2. I paper pieced her dress using designer paper. I added the sentiment using the Die-namics File Tab, the striped fishtail piece was created using the Die-namics Fishtail Flags STAX and I added the new Die-namics Layered Rose to the bottom left corner of the main image. The button in the centre of the rose is from MFT’s Tangy Orange Buttons I also added a couple of the arrows from the Die-namics Lead the Way set. It is hard to see but the orangey dotty paper has a border on the bottom side which is the Die-namics Triple Scallop Border … that is the smallest of the three borders from this die set.
Here is the inside of my card, this time round you can see the border under the orange dotty piece (that is the middle border from the Die-namics Triple Scallop Border this time round) The sentiment uses the Die-namics Designer Labels 4 Stax.
You can find more info on the August MFT Guest Designer Contest here.
Stamps: PI Picture Perfect – MFT Stamps |
Paper: White; Black; Blue; Harvest Market DP – LilyBee Design |
Die-namics: Rectangle Stax 1 & 2; Layered Rose; File Tab; Lead the Way; Fishtail Flags Stax; Designer Labels 4; Triple Scallop Border – MFT Stamps |
Other: Black Ink; Twine; MFT Tangy Orange Buttons; Foam Tape; Copics |
For my second card today I used the Pure Innocence Loads of Love stamp set. I paper pieced the girls dress using designer paper. The girl is stamped and layered using Die-namics Circle STAX Set 1 and Die-namics Circle STAX Set 2. To divide the two different designer papers on the background of the card I used the Die-namics Double Dots Border. The sentiment is stamped using the Die-namics Fishtail Flags STAX .
Seeing the PI girl is holding a laundry basket I wanted to recreate a clothes line of sorts. I attached some Cantaloupe Twine to the top portion of my card and then cut out a few dresses and pants from previous PI girls, these include: Pure Innocence Aim High; Pure Innocence Peek-a-Boo and Pure Innocence Piggy Bank which is being release this Tuesday also.
Here is the inside of my card. I added the PI girl to the right side of my card and added a sentiment. I also added a couple of arrows from the Die-namics Lead the Way set.
