Halloween Treats

The MFT Design Team Creative Challenge is a monthly feature, where we are challenged to explore our creative side using a specific theme, product, or technique. This month, we were challenged to create a card or project with no patterned paper.  Be sure to check out the MFT Blog for a list of all participating designers who have a project to share with you today.

I have to admit when I first saw this challenge I thought how cruel LOL … most of the cards I make use designer paper … I love love love using designer paper. Although recently I have created a few cards without the use of designer paper so all is good .

This month I used the new MFT Stamps Lisa Johnson Designs Primitive Pumpkins Die-namics and Stamp set. I started with a base of Sweet Tooth card stock and stamped the star border from the set along the bottom edge. I added another layer of Sweet Tooth card and stamped the larger pumpkin and sentiment to my card. The other two pumpkins were stamped and die cut using the matching die-namics die which can be purchased when you buy this set. Along the bottom of the second white panel I added some Orange Fizz card which was cut using the Die-namics Wavy Edge .

Here is the inside of my card. I added the border of stars again in black and added a pumpkin and a sentiment included in the stamp set.
