MFTeaser Day 1

MFT PrimitivePumpkins wm
Hi everyone,

It’s that time again when the MFT Stamps designs team begins showing our MFTeasers in preparation of the new stamps which will be released by MFT Stamps after the release party this coming Monday 10th September.

Today the Design Team are featuring three stamp sets:
  • WTG - Fairy Dust
  • Lisa Johnson’s Primitive Pumpkins Die-namics and Stamp set
  • Lisa Johnson’s Distressed Diamonds
I have two cards to share with you today, for my first card I have used the new Lisa Johnson’s Primitive Pumpkins Die-namics and Stamp set, this is such a fun set which lots of possibilities.  I used MFT Stamps Heavyweight Cardstock Kraft to create my card, I stamped the star background included in this stamp set repeatedly over my card base using brown ink and cut a circle into the right hand side of my card using the Die-namics Circle Stax 2. The Pumpkins are also stamped onto Kraft card and then die cut using the matching Die-namics dies for this set. There are three pumpkin images and matching Die-namics dies but as you can see I only used the one on the front of my card.

The sentiment on the top left side of my card is stamped using the new Die-namics Jumbo Fishtail Banner dies. I wrapped some Cantaloupe Twine topped with a Kraft Button around the thinner portion of my card where the circle is cut out.

Here is the inside of my card. I added the Star border to the bottom of my card and added one of the other pumpkins & sentiments from the set.
Stamps: Lisa Johnson’s Primitive Pumpkins – MFT Stamps
Paper: Kraft – MFT Stamps
Die-namics: Lisa Johnson’s Primitive Pumpkins; Circle Stax 2; Jumbo Fishtail Banner Stax – MFT Stamps
Other: Chestnut Roan Fluid Chalk; Olive Pastel Fluid Chalk; Tangerine Fluid Chalk; Cantaloupe Twine; Kraft Button; Foam Tape

For my second card today I have used the WTG stamp set….. WTG Fairy Dust , this is such a fun stamp set.

The layout of my cards uses the sketch from last week's WSC sketch challenge, which I couldn't use last week as the release was rescheluded.

I have paper pieced the WTG’s dress using designer paper. I was thinking about Cinderella while I was creating this card so I added the pumpkin which is from the new Lisa Johnson’s Primitive Pumpkins Die-namics and Stamp set also been featured today.

The black zig zag border was created using the Die-namics Open Zig Zag Border, the sentiment is stamped onto one of the tabs from the Die-namics Mini Tabs Foursome.
