World’s Greatest Dad!

Hi everyone,
It’s Wednesday which means it’s time for this week’s Wednesday Stamp Club sketch over on the MFT Stamps Member Forum of SCS. This week it is my turn again to host the challenge, hope you enjoy the sketch!

I did have another card for you using this sketch but as the MFT Release had to be pushed back a little I can’t share it right now as it used stamps from the new release. So this week you get two cards from me …. one now and one after the release. I needed to make a card for my DH for Father’s Day anyway so it was a good opportunity to get one done. If you don’t know Father’s Day is held on the 1st Sunday of September down in Australia and New Zealand.
For my card this week I used the sentiments from the Die-namics Masculine Graphic Tee Die & Stamp Set, this is the perfect stamp set for men especially.
The sentiment and #1 are both stamped and layered using the Die-namics Circle Stax 1 & 2. The Triangle underneath the circles etc was created using the Die-namics Jumbo Banner Day STAX …. I cut the banner near the end so that I could extend the triangle shape that little bit more so it filled most of my card, it can’t be seen under the circle.
For the vertical pieces on the left side of my card I used the Die-namics Retro Squares and added a few brads on each alternate square.

Here is the inside of my card. I added another sentiment from the Die-namics Masculine Graphic Tee Die & Stamp Set and added the double border I used on the front using the Die-namics Retro Squares .

We encourage you all to play along, and to enter your card in the weekly draw for a $15 gift voucher to the MFT Boutique. Simply follow the sketch and create a card or other paper creation. You may use any stamps and supplies that you wish. Each week, a keyword is assigned to the sketch. All you need to do to enter, is upload your card to the gallery at SCS, and enter the given keyword in the keyword box, during the upload process. After the deadline, we randomly choose a winner from that week's entries and the winner will receive a $15 gift voucher. If the winning card uses MFT stamps, the participant will earn a $5 bonus, for a total of a $20 gift voucher! That is up to $100 per month in prizes, JUST for playing along.
