A Poppy In the Hand

Hi everyone,
It’s Wednesday which means it’s time for this week’s Wednesday Stamp Club sketch over on the MFT Stamps Member Forum of SCS. This week it is my turn to host the sketch .

For my card this week I used Lisa Johnson Designs Pretty Poppies stamp set and the Die-namics Poppies and Leaves set. I am loving these two sets.

I have used Kraft, Black Licorice, Sweet Tooth and the new Electric Red card for my card. The fishtail layer is created using the Die-namics Fishtail Flags STAX and Die-namics Fishtail Flags Layers STAX,  I then used the word background stamp from the stamp set and stamped that over the Sweet Tooth layer using Kraft Ink. The leaves and stems of the poppies were stamped using Gum Drop Green Ink which is also being released on Monday.

For the sentiment panel I used the Die-namics Circle STAX Set 1 and Die-namics Circle STAX Set 2 which I then cut down and stamped my sentiment using Black Licorice Ink.

For the strip across the bottom of the card I added Hemp Cord and an Electric Red Button.

We encourage you all to play along, and to enter your card in the weekly draw for a $15 gift voucher to the MFT Boutique. Simply follow the sketch and create a card or other paper creation. You may use any stamps and supplies that you wish. Each week, a keyword is assigned to the sketch.
