Dad

CCEE1325-Dad-wm

Hi everyone,

It’s challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. This week our challenge hostess for the month Brenda O’Rear brings us another fun challenge.

Brenda has challenged us to Create a CAS masculine card

Hopefully this is CAS enough …. I started with the embossed base which was created using Spellbinders Kickin’ Rubber M-Bossabilities folder … this is a perfect embossing folder for men don’t you think! I inked the inside of the folder with Kraft ink before embossing my Kraft card so that I achieved the 2 tone look.

I cut the bottom brown panel at an angle and then placed the letters “D” “A” “D” so that they touched this panel.

Here is the inside of my card … here I combined a couple of different stamps and a die for the YOU.

Don’t forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog (goes live 12 AM EST) to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs:

What a totally fabulous card, Frances. And I think I've GOT to add that folder to my wish list. It would be so perfect with Fred Bear Hiking, as well as other stamps I know I have.
