It's challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. This week our challenge hostess for the month, Amber Hillman continues to issue the challenges.
Amber tells us that school starts back up today for her kids! So let's make a card or item that can be given to the teacher at open house or first day of school.
I recently was sent a few of the Dare 2B Artzy Owl stamp sets and die from a friend in the USA, and this owl stamp was one of them, so I decided to combine it with the Blueprints 17 Die-namics from MFT Stamps to create a school themed card for my card today.
i also found a few school themed stamp sets in my stash which I also used to decorate the blackboard.
Here is the inside of my card, I added a couple of sentiments to the chalkboard.

Love this scholarly owl and your sensational chalkboard design, Frances! So creative!
That old-fashioned blackboard is wonderful, and the banner adds an extra touch of fun.
Somehow I just knew you would use and owl......and what better image to signify school and learning! I couldn't resist either. Love your "chalkboard".

Perfect owl and blackboard/chalkboard, although I think the word these days are whiteboard/smartboard
